“ Brand: Oriflame / Texture: Cream / Type: Body Cream / What it does: Enriches, „
Due to heating my skin becomes quite dry in winter therefore I look for something more moisturising than my usual lotions or body butters. One of my purchases was Oriflame Ultra Rich Body Cream.
It comes in a fairly plain, orangeish round container. Its design isn't very impressive and it has a transparent lid with a sticker on the top. What I like about this container is that you can easily use every single bit of it and nothing will be left in it at the end.
The cream itself has a very rich texture and is very thick (it is probably one of the thickest creams I have ever used). Despite its thickness, it is very easy to spread on your body however it can take a couple of minutes to be absorbed. This is sometimes annoying when I am in a hurry but if I take a long, relaxing bath and apply it afterwards, I don't really mind waiting this few minutes. After that, you can put your clothes on without worrying that the cream will make you feel sticky.
The cream has a white colour and its scent is quite difficult to describe. It is pleasant and mild, not flowery and not refreshing. It disappears quite quickly leaving the skin with this lovely scent.
The producer says this cream is especially for extra-dry skin. I don't have such skin but it did help to moisturise my dry skin, even in especially dry parts of my body such as elbows (I always struggle to keep them nourished). After several days of using it on a daily basis, my skin became softer and smoother. However, one container lasts around three weeks (it contains only 200ml of the cream) and normally costs £6.75 which I think is quite expensive. It can be bought on offer quite frequently.
Overall, it is a good cream. I give it four stars only because of the price and design.
