... you a bit of zing in the shower and it does. In aromatherapy orange is used to help the skin renew and repair so it feels like just the right thing to use on your skin. Then there's the crushed sweet almond. My nose doesn't so readily identify that smell but my skin certainly recognises the minute granules being circulated as I scrub away. It's a great scrub for smoothing bumpy upper arms or thighs and the circular motions of application are recognised as being good for releasing the blockages in the lymphatic drainage...more

Crowned Review Original Source Bitter Orange & Crushed Sweet Almond Body Scrub: Doesn't Scrub Up Well (707 words)

I have blotchy red patches on my upper left arm which is rather unsightly. I was told this was caused by the pores getting blocked, and so to remedy this to use a body scrub to unblock them. Weirdly it is only on my upper left arm. I had found a wonderful body scrub but Tesco seem to have discontinued stocking it and I can't find it anywhere else (have since found it). With my friends wedding looming, where I was to be a bridesmaid, I went on a hunt for a new body scrub to sort out my skin. The choice of body scrubs in Tesco was rather bleak, but in the end I plumped for this body scrub by Original Source. I went for the orange version because I thought it would smell ...  Read the complete review

I found the scrub on offer at just £1 in Tesco and as I like most Original Source products I thought I'd give it a go. This is a 200ml plastic recyclable tube with a peachy coloured content with flecks in, evidently the scrub aspect of the product. On opening it the smell is delicious, the hit of orange is both sweet and tangy, just like the real deal. Now, not only my nose but my education as well tells me that orange is good for revitalising and giving you a bit of zing in the shower and it does. Premium Review Original Source Bitter Orange & Crushed Sweet Almond Body Scrub: An orange delight! (625 words)

Having finally gotten to the end of my Soap and Glory Flake Away scrub, I needed a replacement. Browsing in Boots I overheard one of the assistants helping a lady choose products for her daughter. She was really enthusiastic about the Original Source range and was listing loads of good points about it. I have used a few Original Source products in the past, but it has never been a range I have been a particularly huge fan of. Even though she wasn't speaking to me, just ear-wigging on the conversation, the assistant had convinced me to buy some products for myself! The scrub comes in a clear tube with a flip top cap, through which you can see the scrub which is ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Not The Zest Scrub On The Shelf (839 words)

I am someone who loves to try and test beauty products and see what is out there. I am always looking for the best possible products, and I do love scented things. On my previous review on the Garnier Summerbody, I did mention that before using the cream I had to have a full scrub to get rid of all dead skin so that the tan would apply evenly with no streakiness or patchy marks. I am quite fussy with products and will pay that bit more for something that is a brand that is well known or for a nicer smell etc. While in my local Tesco I came across Original Source, who I love and have used before. Their scrubs had two scents but I chose Bitter Orange and Crushed Sweet ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Original Source Bitter Orange & Crushed Sweet Almond Body Scrub: Smells so good you could almost eat it (221 words)

Original Source, is a great smelling range of products marketing themselves on using natural ingredients and lots of essential oils. If you read the ingredients they are aren't all natural and have their fair share or parabens. These products (most of them) are approved by the Vegan Society so they can't be all bad. I have tried many products in their range and love the mint and lemon shower gels. The fragrance is so Recently they have added to their range - body scrubs, which I personally love to use. They are priced at £1.99, but you will always find them at 99p in Boots or Superdrug, which is a reasonable price to pay. The tube was great, it ...  Read the complete review
