Advantages: Smells somewhat amazing, really does make you feel energized.
Disadvantages: Requires a larger amount than would be expected to get exceptionally clean.
The packaging is very neat with the slogan 'mouthwateringly zingy', very succinct and illustrates what the shower gel is trying to do. When you use Original Source Lime Shower, the smell is very invigorating, it makes you open your eyes as you breathe it in.
The bottle style is somewhat of a nuisance as it is very hard to get the right amount out as it has a suction hole which you must open before any will come out, and often too much will come out.
The consistency of the gel isn't runny, but it isn't thick, it's just right, though the essential oils in it can cause it to slide off your hands if you're not careful!
See now I really want to like this shower gel, I think it's great, there's nothing better than waking yourself up in the morning with a nice warm shower with the gorgeous smell this gel gives out. But sadly I have a bit of a problem with Original Source products because since they became reasonably popular the product quality has sadly taken a nose dive. Yes they do create a sublime aroma but the first and foremost important thing about having a shower/bath/communal paddling pool rub down is to get clean, and in my honest opinion I don't really think this gel works as good as some other products. I don't get that feeling I'm incredibly clean, and if I do it's because I've used half the bottle, and I shouldn't really have to.
A few years back they used to be awesome, but sadly not so much anymore. Shame really.
Summary: Not quite as great as it used to be.

- 12/01/09 Trufax, I have new Original Source and it's not quite as good. The scrubs are better, but also cost more! |

- 12/01/09 I bought a couple of Original Source shower smoothies a couple of months ago and they're still virtually full. They hardly lather at all and I was really disppointed. |
