Advantages: A beautiful smell, such soft skin and lovely easy use

Disadvantages: Maybe a bit too tingley, especially for the guys!

I am not usually that fussy when I buy my brand of shower gels, I tend to buy whatever has a good price, and looks good on the shelf as long as it will get me clean. I was in my local supermarket the other day when I saw the Original Source Shower Gel varieties. There was a selection of different flavours, including Mint and Tea Tree, Lime, Lemon, Spearmint, Orange and Grapefruit, Lavender, Coconut and Almond and probably more! I picked up the Mint and Tea Tree as the colour looked nice and the flavour sounded refreshing.

*****Appearance*****

The bottle was quite long, a good shape and it looked unique from most other Shower Gels. The Mint and Tea Tree flavour which I bought was a lovely shade of green like a lime colour, although it is mint flavour! The lid is black. The whole bottle is pretty much full to the top so you get a good amount for the money you pay. The writing is well set out on the bottle and looks tidy and neat.

*****Usage*****

The way you use it is similar to most other shower gels, you flick open the lid which is easily done. You just squeeze and a small amount comes out, not too much which is great for me. I find it best squeezed onto a sponge, a fair amount and then rub it all over your skin. What I also liked about it was that you don't have to prick a little foil cap for the gel to come out. There is nothing more annoying than getting into the shower with a new bottle of shower gel and not being able to open it! With this, you just squeeze and it comes out.

****My Opinion*****

When I first squeezed out the liquid onto a sponge, the first thing I noticed was the lovely smell. It smelt of fresh mint, such a refreshing smell and it gave me a first good impression. As I sponged it onto my skin, it lathered up very well. This is a great shower gel for having a shower first thing in the morning, it really does wake you up as it says on the bottle! The tingle was intense, maybe a little too much so! You got used to it though as I rubbed it all over my body. It advises you to keep the liquid away from your eyes. I usually wash my face with the shower gel, so I kept my eyes well shut and washed it off straightaway. No liquid escaped into my eyes.

I could smell the minty freshness as I washed myself all over and it was very pleasant. It washed off well and I could tell how much cleaner and fresher my skin felt! I felt more awake too. Even after I had dried myself off, I could still smell the minty aroma on my smooth skin. It was lovely and better than any body spray or perfume!

I will definitely use this again, it was a lovely experience to use and smelt lovely, leaving my skin so smooth. I recommend it to anyone!

Summary: Absolutely lovely and money well spent!
