Advantages: not very expensive, nice smell, enables me to breath easier
Disadvantages: Doesn't leave your skin feeling baby smooth
I was in Asda the other day and noticed this was on offer. I had been meaning to get some for ages now but thought it was quite expensive for a shower gel. Reduced to £1.66 I thought why not? I have heard both good and bad reports about this product but as I am quite keen on the smell of mint anyway chances were that I would like it. First of all I will talk about the packaging. It is fairly simple with a see-through bottle with black writing. Tea tree and Mint is shown in Black with a red background so it is easy to spot. There is a hook on the bottle, which to me is essential, as I have nowhere else to put anything inside my shower. The actual shower gel is bright green which you could have probably have predicted due to the tea tree and mint. As I am back at university I have to make do with showers and only have a bath as a treat when I go to my fiancés. In my shower cubicle at university I try and get out as quick as possible. I have breathing problems and often feel claustrophobic in them and have to stick my head out of the door every minute or so. This shower gel made a big difference though and my first thought was I could breathe. It seemed to completely clear my airways and for once I could take my time in the shower. It seemed to have a similar effect to Vics Vaporub. The smell is really strong and if you use enough you will end up smelling like a polo mint all day. As my bathroom is small it leaves a nice smell around. It says on the packaging that it is “so refreshing it will make your senses come alive.” Before trying this product I didn’t believe this statement but now I think it is an understatement. As for the effect on my skin I didn’t really notice any different. It felt quite smooth but not baby smooth. This does not matter too much to me in a shower gel though as I use other products to achieve smoother skin. I went straight out to purchase the shaving gel and I think I
will be using this shower gel throughout my shower days. For £1.66 this product was a bargain and that is after only three showers.
