Advantages: Feels lovely, Smells good, My skin feels great

Disadvantages: None

As you probably know I am a great fan of almost all the Original Source products with the exception of the lime and mint fragrances, which I find too strong for me.

So it was with great interest that I decided to try the Moisturising Body Mousse, which promised me 'a refreshing, never tried before moisturising mousse for silky, soft and healthy skin'.

I chose the Tea Tree and Orange fragrance as I particularly like the other Original Source products that I have tried which contain orange essential oil.

It comes in a 150 ml can - looking similar to a can of hair mousse - and the colour of the can corresponds with the fragrance of the mousse if you see what I mean, so my can is a peachy orange colour. The lid is made from opaque plastic through which you can see the good-sized nozzle from where the mousse will be dispensed.

I shook the can, although I was not actually instructed to do so, and sprayed mousse into the palm of my hand. Now this was a bit of a shock to me! The mousse expanded into a large, thick, creamy pile in my hand - which incidentally it doesn't do if you don't shake the can first, it tends to be quite watery instead, but I digress.

I thought that I must have sprayed far too much onto my hand as I find that if I do try and put too much moisturiser on it takes ages for it to be absorbed. With this product I need not have worried. I began to spread the mousse onto my skin and it felt lovely and silky and was all absorbed very quickly, with no trace of stickiness or greasiness and my skin felt lovely and smooth. Of course this also means that you can dress as soon as you have finished without getting any greasy residue on your clothes.

The fragrance is noticeable when the mousse is first applied but does wear off quite quickly, however it is lovely whilst it lasts!

It says on the can that 'it's the essential oils that make the difference', and this one has a love
ly fragrance of oranges which is really refreshing and the tea tree, although masked in smell by the orange, is a natural antiseptic so that's good for my skin too.

The directions actually instruct you to 'dispense a small amount into the hands and smooth gently over skin'. I would just say again that shaking the can first is also a good idea to get the creamy thickness of the mousse and actually using 'a small amount' would be quite a feat too!

I would have to say that this is one of the nicest moisturisers that I have used in a long time.

It costs about £3 per can and is made in the UK. Original Source only contains natural oils, which have not been tested on animals. If you are pregnant it is advisable to check before use, as certain essential oils are not recommended for use during pregnancy.

There is a warning on the can that it is extremely flammable and you should not smoke near the can, pierce or burn it, or place it on a polished or painted surface, but this is pretty common sense stuff really isn?t it?

In conclusion, I have to say that I really like this one. My skin feels and smells nice, the product itself is easy and pleasant to apply and, yes, I will be buying this one again!

I love the orange fragrance too although I've not tried this particular product from the range yet. Great review!

Nah I wouldn't be tempted to use this to be honest! Be a good review nonetheless.
