... is suitable for vegans. WHAT DO I DO WITH THIS THEN? Well I am not a shower person so I use it in the bath. I squeezed some of the thick, creamy liquid into my hand the rubbed or massaged my body in a circular motion, taking particular care of my elbows, backs of my arms and legs. This would be the same in a shower except you would rinse off under the shower as opposed to in the bath water. WHAT DOES IT DO? The product claims that it is 'a perfect polish' as the bamboo will exfoliate, the aloe vera will soothe...more

Crowned Review Original Source Papaya, Aloe Vera & Bamboo Scrub: You'd do better scrubbing with a raw papaya (692 words)

Original Source Papaya Fruit Aloe Vera and bamboo moisturising body scrub WHERE CAN I BUY THIS? I bought this product from Tesco but it can be bought at Boots and I suspect other chemists and beauty product shops as well. The cost ranges between £2.75 and can be as low as £1 if you are very lucky. HOW DO I RECOGNISE THIS ON THE SHELF? The product is a very pale creamy colour and comes in an upside down plastic tube and on the front the words ORIGINAL SOURCE are highlighted in black letters on a yellow background. The name of the product is in brown with the words 'Moisturising Body Scrub also in black on yellow background. It ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review The perfect polish? (597 words)

I have used two scrubs from Original Source so far - the bitter orange one which I loved and the seaweed one which I hated, so I truly had no idea what to expect from the third of their scrubs I have purchased, the 'Papaya fruit, Aloe Vera and Bamboo Moisturising Body Scrub'. The scrub comes in a clear tube through which you can see the off-white coloured scrub which is peppered with small brown grains. It has a flip top lid, which makes it easy and convenient to use (no trying to screw a lid back on with wet hands!) and it says that this scrub will achieve 'a perfect polish'. It also tells me that the scrub is moisturising, which is great for me as I have ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Original Source Papaya, Aloe Vera & Bamboo Scrub: Original Source Papaya, Aloe Vera & Bamboo Body Scrub (517 words)

I tend to use body scrubs quite sparsely but having noticed some blotchy sections on my upper arms I decided it was time to buy one again. I came across Original Source in Tesco at the weekend. They currently have an offer of BOGOF (Buy One Get One Free) or just over £2.00 per item. I decided I would give Original Source a go as I had heard a lot of good things from this site about the natural ingredients and the actual products doing what they set out to. I bought one of these and one of the Detoxifying scrubs. The bottle is a clear plastic tube that has the opening at the bottom which is always good as it means you can squeeze every last bit out when it ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Lovely scrub! (260 words)

I have quite a lot of Original Source items in my bathroom, I like the fact that they promote natural ingredients and They always tend to smell sssoooo lovely! Almost edible in fact! I brought this scrub as number 1. Its was on offer and number 2. I think it's important to regularly exfoliate! This normal costs around £2.50 in chemists like Superdrug, however in Boot's it's generally a tad more expensive. Also larger Supermarkets tend to have quite a large range of Original Source items which are reguarly on £1 per item offers or BOGOFs. This product comes in a clear, soft plastic tube (which in turn makes it very slippery with wet hands!) with product label and ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Original Source Papaya, Aloe Vera & Bamboo Scrub: Indulgance in a tube! (215 words)

Original Source I like Original Source products and this is no exception. I like to use an exfoliating product from time to time and especially as it is getting near summer, those bits that have been covered all winter are about to be put on display so the elbows, legs and heels need some attention. The tube says packed with natural stuff. Indulge your senses with Payaya fruit extract known for its moisturising properties. Bamboo to naturally exfoliate and extract of Aloe Vera know to help soothe and repair your skin. It suggests using instead of shower gel, massaging in circular motions and rinsing with warm water.
