Original Source Pomegranate & Fig Shower Pouch

I wouldn't normally think of washing myself in pomegranate, it is usually a health food that I eat when I need to recharge my skin and brain. So it was somewhat of a surprise to see it in a shower gel. I have used many of the Original Source products and been pretty impressed by what they have to offer. I am not a slave to any particular shower gel or product. Always up for a sniff along the toiletry isle is the Supermarket. Having said that, my hubby has alway liked Original Source gels, his particular fave being Original Lime. I have to say, I am not adverse to Lime, but find it a little citrus-like for me, I am more a fruity fan, maybe a hint of coconut tropical? I bought this product absolutely ages ago but only just got round to using it, due to the enormous amount of stuff I have! The original source pomegranate and fig shower juice is basically a shower gel that comes packaged in a plastic pouch. The pouch is slightly reminiscent of those drinks you get that you need to puncture with a straw, except this one has a plastic pull-up nozzle on one corner. When I was out doing the shopping this week I really fancied treating myself to something new for a bit of pampering. The unusual packaging and the bright colour of this lovely Original Source product caught my attention and ended up straight in the basket. Packaging ~~~~~~~ The shower pouch looks a little like a clear capri-sun packet, or other drinks container. So much so, it even says 'Please do not drink' across the front! I love the fruity smell of this shower gel but I'm not fond of the packaging. The blurb on the pouch claims that it detoxes but I have no idea what that would mean in a shower gel. What it does do is leave your skin clean and soft and smelling great and the smell in the shower does perk me up of a morning. In fact the smell is strong enough to permeate the bathroom for hours afterward and thus save on air freshers. It's also nice to find a strong smelling gel that really is suitable for both men and women. The packaging is innovative and attractive but actually not that practical in the shower.
