I adore Original Source. They have the most lovely scents to their products. This new Rose and Aloe shower is a particular favourite of mine. It's absolutely gorgeous! I love the natural smell of their shower cremes, and you know from smelling their products that they contain natural essential oils. The aromas of the source are of a true, intense strength. The rose and aloe is absolutely divine, with a strong depth of pure rose essence, and it is intoxicating to say the least. The added aloe is beneficial for moisturising and helping to heal damaged skin.


This makes it a lovely combination for bathing and washing in. The essential rose oil is made from rose petals and it makes for a truly gorgeous bath time indulgence. Surprising to find out that it takes the oil from over fifty roses to produce just one drop of the rose essential oil needed for this source shower.

No wonder it smells so wonderful. Obviously if you don't like the smell of strong rose, this shower cream will not be for you. The liquid itself is a pale pearly pink colour, slightly luminescent, and the plastic bottle has a snap-to, retractable nozzle. Which is great if you drop it in the bath, as it automatically seals itself to the closed position. The bottle shape is slightly obelisk, and quite rough in feel, for non slip grip. It has a round, red sticker on it saying it is new. Well I think it's time they took that off cos it's been 'new' for quite a while now. Also on the reverse of the bottle it states "Get your free sample" at originalsource.co.uk. So I went over there poste haste only to find that they stopped the free sample last November because it had been running for a couple of years! :O Where had I been? -


On the front is written that is blissfully soothing. Well that I can vouch for, and 'packed with essential oils is written along the bottom of the bottle. It has the shelf life at 36 months, and the weight of 250ml.


I think Original Source owe their huge popularity to the fact that their products are natural, not tested on animals, vegan friendly, and they use essential oils in them, but also manage to keep their goods at a very reasonable price. I nearly always buy Original Source from Boots, as they are usually £1.99, and sometimes on offer, two for the price of one. Which is great!, and of course I'm taking care of my advantage points too. I went to the Source Website and the price quoted there for this product was £2.49, so you can see the strong benefits of shopping around for a best price.


They have such a wonderful variety too, with showers cremes such as: Almond and coconut- Tea tree and mint- Spearmint and lavender - Pure lime-Tee tree and lemon- Rose and geranium- and ylang and neroli?


Original Source products use only 100% pure and natural essential oils extracted from various plants, "citrus fruits, leaves, petals, and flowers." I can't wait for the 'new', and this time it is, I believe. That's if their website is updated regularly, and it's called - Dragonfruit and capsiscum. It's supposed to be quite spicy. Nice...


Essential oils are so great in treating health related problems, sleep issues, respiratory, skin, and many other uses. I find the Original Source products a delight to use. They leave your skin feeling refreshingly clean, and lovely and soft. The rose source is a particularly uplifting shower experience. Rose oil is known for it's calming and sensuous properties.


Just breathing in those indulgent pure rose oils is a delight to the senses. It also leaves a gorgeous scent on the skin, after your shower. I do wish they would start doing perfume sprays, especially the rose. It is written that Cleopatra is said to have used aloe as a beauty aid, so that's an ingredient that has been around for a good few years, and combined with the rose petals, what a deliciously decadent shower this Rose and Aloe makes for.
