Advantages: Strong fresh fruity smell
Disadvantages: Not much lather, not the most moisturising of shower gels
I'm a huge fan of the Original Source range. I love the fresh fruity fragrances and I had previously bought the lemon Original Source shower gel and actually picked up the Lemon and Tea Tree Shower gel by accident
**Price**
The shower gel is available in most supermarkets and in places like Boots and Superdrug. It's priced at around £2.50 for a 250ml bottle. I recently got a few bottles of this on special offer at Asda for 99p per bottle, and Boots often have a BOGOF offer on these products.
**Packaging**
The packaging is pretty plain and simple, a tapered clear plastic container that is wider at the bottom of the packet rather than the top. The lip is actually at the bottom of the packaging which means you have to shut the lid in order to stand the shower gel back up. It's not too difficult to squeeze the container and there is a small plastic/ rubber opening which helps to regulate and stop too much shower gel coming out. There is however no hook to hand the container up in the shower. I really like the packaging as the shower gel is so bright and shows through the clear packaging so looks good on the bathroom shelf.
**Smell**
In each 250ml shower gel there are 10 lemons in each container in addition to essential oils. This definitely smells of lemon. I really like how strong the lemon smell is but some people may feel this very over powering. After showering and drying off the lemon smell is strong but certainly not as strong as when the gel first is applied to the skin. The overall smell is very fresh and fruity, and excellent smell especially when you first wake up.
**Feel**
One of the biggest drawbacks of this product is that it isn't a shower gel that produces as lot of lather or bubbles. It remains very much like a gel on your skin. After using skin does feel very smooth and soft but if you have particularly dry skin this isn't the most moisturising of shower gels. When my skin went through a dry phase even after showering it did feel very dry still.
The product is also not tested on animals
Another great product in the Original Source range!!!
Summary: A lovely refreshing shower gel, with not a lot of lather!
