I am a big fan of the Original Source range, despite having very sensitive skin there isn't a single item I've come across in this very fragrant range that has upset my skin. I had never heard of this Lemon and Tea Tree Shower Gel until I came across it in Poundland while buying the toiletries I'd need for my long weekend away over Easter and while I love anything lemon scented it was actually the bright yellow colour of the gel that convinced me to buy a couple of bottles.

It comes in one of those upside down bottles that makes it easier to squeeze the gel out of the bottle, it also looks very nice indeed standing up in my bathroom because the colour is so sunny and the bottle rather splendid looking too even though it's basically just a plastic shower gel bottle!

As with most Original Source products a little goes a long way, I only have to squirt a very small amount onto my sponge and it lathers up beautifully when I have a shower. For this reason a bottle will last for ages I think, I have actually used this bottle every morning for over a week and there is still a little more than half of the gel left which makes it excellent value for money.

To describe the smell I shall use just one word, lemony. It's gorgeously citrus and the zingy aroma helps me to wake up in the morning in much the same way as the infinitely more expensive Happy Hippy shower gel that I buy sometimes from Lush. There is also Tea Tree in the shower gel but to be honest I cannot really smell this too much although this fragrance does come through a little bit in the steam of the shower.

After showering using this gel my skin always feels beautifully refreshed, not tingly fresh like when I use the Original Source minty range but I definitely feel squeaky clean and my skin is moisturised and feels well nourished. It rinses off easily in the shower and I have never been left with any residue on my skin, which can obviously cause irritation and itchiness.

I think I have found a new favourite shower gel here, now what time does Poundland close as I think I need to stock up on a few more bottles!
