I've been a huge fan of Original Source shower gel since I discovered the lime variety. It was so amazingly limey and zingy, and for me the perfect way to wake yourself up in the shower. I have enjoyed using the lime variety so much, I have been a little slow in trying the other varieties.

These shower gels can be a little pricey costing £2 for a bottle but they are frequently on special offer for £1 and that's when I tend to stock up. I spotted them on offer this week in Tesco's and as I was picking up a bottle of my favourite I also decided to try the Tea Tree and Lemon variety. Now I'm not really a huge fan of tea tree, I find the smell really overpowering and it is not at all what I would choose to wake up to and for this reason I had always decided not to try this one. On this occasion however, I had a sneaky lift of the lid and had a really good sniff. It had an amazing aroma, really really lemony and refreshing and I really couldn't detect the tea tree at all. I was persuaded and popped the bottle in my shopping basket.

I think that the Original Source shower gels have fantastic style of packaging. The brand is very distinctive and stands out from the rest of the shower gels on the supermarket shelf. I also really like the way that they are packaged in a clear bottle, therefore the colour of the shower gel provides the colour of the bottle. As original source shower gels are always really brightly coloured, they do look really striking and different.

I used the shower gel the next morning and was really impressed with the results, the smell was amazing and the lemon aroma really made me feel invigorated and wide awake. The shower gel also provided the most amazing foam without using a great deal of the product. This means that a bottle of the shower gel does last quite a long time making it good value for money.

I think this is a fab shower gel and will definately be buying this variety again.
