Advantages: Clean, fresh
Disadvantages: looks horrible
Before I write about this shower gel I must point out categorically that I’m not a lemon person. Whether it was living with my dad then my boyfriend who insisted on using Zest soap, or whether it was the lemon washing up liquid in the bath at my grandparents’ house (don’t ask!), I have been put off lemon for life. Anyway… Original Source Tea Tree and Lemon shower gel. Appearance: Oh my God! Someone has put lemon curd in the sachet and is having me on. Which brings me to its texture – it made me queasy. The thick gloopy lemon curd-esque substance splattered into my bath and sat there defiantly. No, it would not rinse off with a splash from my shower head – I had to get a cloth and wipe it off. Performance: Well here I can’t fault it. It washes so much better than I imagine lemon curd does. (Don’t try that at home unless you like getting sticky!) I smelt fresh and clean after washing with this shower gel but mildly traumatised by its appearance. A must for all lemon lovers but give it a miss if lemon curd makes you queasy. The facts: Tea Tree – a natural antiseptic Lemon – cleansing & refreshing What the press say: Original Source shower gel remains the most invigorating and value-for-money shower gel you can buy DAILY EXPRESS 'SATURDAY' MAGAZINE A mouth watering lime scent made purely from essential oils, and lathers up to give a truly refreshing shower GOOD HOUSEKEEPING MAGAZINE Fantastic for kick-starting the immune system and also great for naturally soothing and rejuvenating the skin's pH balance so you'll be bright eyed and bushy tailed in no time. - 13/10/01 Totally agree with you, this smells of lemon curd! This is my least favourite fragrance in the Original Source range.
On another subject, I am so sorry I've not been around much lately to rate your ops, I've been feeling really poorly of late and hardly been on the net at all. Hopefully with a bit of time I'll be feeling better and be able to rate and write on a more regular basis. In the meantime I'll catch up on all the ops I've missed!
