Original Source have been around for a while now, well if we are being exact the company started in 1997(and were acquired by Cussons Ltd in 2003). However it's only recently that I have tried any of their products- I'm not sure why it's taken me so long to get round to buying their shower gels as I'm a bit of a shopaholic with toiletries and tend to stock up just for the sake of it (wish my spending stopped at toiletries but it extends to many, many other items Lol *sighs heavily thinking about her bank balance*!)
So, the shower gel...

I chose the mint and tea tree shower gel as I do like the smell of anything minty, and I'm a big fan of all things tea tree related, as it's known for it's natural cleansing and healing properties...plus it was on offer of £0.99 at Superdrug.

What's it like?~
As soon as you open the lid you are greeted by a very strong, fresh minty aroma that almost makes your eyes water! It's got quite a prominent peppermint smell and reminds me of After Eight chocolates.
The shower gel is not too thick or thin-just the right consistency and is quite bright green in colour, it can be seen clearly through the bottle- which stands upright,and is an oblong shape that tapers in towards the top. It has a black lid at the base, and is a see through bottle with the lettering on the front.

Is it any good?~
Well, I was quite impressed with this so I would say yes. It lathered up quite well and you only need a small amount, so the bottle lasts a while and is good value for money.They claim it takes 7,927 real mint leaves to make one 250ml bottle of this and I can believe it it's so strong- ideal for showering in the morning as it certainly wakes you up! Although I like it my hubby and two young sons also use it and I can often smell the mint on my boys skin when I'm tucking them in to bed on a night, often a couple of hours after they have washed with it, so the smell does linger.

Miscellaneous~
Original Source are members of the Aromatherapy Trade Council, and work closely with the Vegan Society and never test on animals. They use extracts from leaves, stems and peel of fruits and always test the products out on themselves first.
