Advantages: Clean and fresh
Disadvantages: Strong smell of mint may be too much for some
I hate getting out of my warm bed. I find myself rushing around every morning just for that extra 5 minutes. I prefer a long hot soak in the bath but, when my pillow calls a quick shower has to do. I first discovered Tea Tree and Mint Shower product when I visted the Original Source web sit: www.originalsource.co.uk. I found the word "free" in the top left hand corner. Clicked on and gave them my details. About 5 days later I had my first of 8 samples to try (all they ask is that you give them your opinion on each sample and they send you the next). The sample is a small green sachet (normally priced at £0.49) for 25mls. With this they also include an information sheet on other products they make and details of how to order them. I know, you have heard it all before. Now for my experience. I received my sample and thought, if I have to have a shower I might as well try it. The first thing I noticed was the strong smell of mint as soon as I opened it (if you dont like mint, this is not for you). The second was the smooth rich feel as I squeezed it out of the sachet. I applied it to my hair and body and wow''', the lather, the tingling feeling felt great. I found it worked its way into my hair with ease and foamed around my body like no other shower gel I had used. It washed away fairly quickly leaving no residue. I must say the aroma of mint lasted a few hours but the fresh, clean feeling lasted all day. As I did not want this to be my last experience, I decided to go buy the real thing. This product was easy to find on the shelf. With it's plastic see-through bottle (so you can see the green gel), large black letters, and red stripe across the middle, it stood out from the other shower gels. It has a black easy to remove top with a larger than normal hook (great for hanging anywhere in any bathroom). On the back of the bottle it has the ingredients, directions of use and a short history of Ellen Wakeman.
Also on the back you will find a small box at the bottom right hand side saying, "This product uses natural oils not synthetic fragrances and is not tested on animals". Priced at: £1.99 for 200ml, £2.49 for 250ml & £3.99 for 500ml pumps, I think it is value for money. I have just received my Almond & Orange. Guess what's next'' You can find Original Source Shower Gels at: Waitrose, Somerfield, Asda, Morrisons, Co-op, Safeway, Boots, Superdrug, Tesco, Sainsbury, Bodycare, Makro,Wilkinsons and selected Lloyds chemists. Ingredients can be found on the back (some long words I dont understand).
