... gel so i had to resort to squeezing it onto a sponge rather than into my hands. The packet i have just finished using tonight is mango and macadamia which claims to be nourishing to your skin and i cannot deny this at all, it doesnt lather aswell as others i have tryed and has a rather creamy consistency to it but it does leave my skin feeling very soft and as though it has been moisturised aswell, this saves time after a shower as i have no need to moisturise my skin aswell with this which is great. As one of my birthday presents I got some Original Source Watermint and Lemongrass Nourishing Shower Sorbet - that's an awfully long name for a bit of shower gel! Anyway I have now tried it so I thought I had better tell you about rather than keeping it to myself. The Packaging The packaging of this one is pretty much the same as the Mango and Macadamia Shower Smoothie. This stuff comes in a plastic container which looks like a big sachet with a piece of extra plastic inserted into the base and with the corner cut off. It holds 250ml of Shower Sorbet and the weight of it together with the design of the base means that it will ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Less of a sorbet, more of a jelly (480 words)

This is the third of the Original Source pouches I have tried, this one being the watermint and lemongrass shower sorbet. A shower sorbet is just a fancy name for a shower gel really, and this particular one says it is refreshing and will 'rejuvenate your senses'. The product comes packaged in a plastic pouch with a plastic nozzle on one corner. As I said in my last review of one of these products, these are not meant to be refills, although I know they are often mistaken for them. I find the packaging highly annoying if I'm honest. Because of the shape they are sometimes difficult to stand up and I find it almost impossible to dispense just the amount I need, ...  Read the complete review

After I gave birth to my son, my friends bought him lots of gorgeous presents and then all clubbed together to make a gift bag for me full of pampering treats. It was much appreciated and very thoughtful, and my favourite item was the Mango and Macadamis Original Source Shower Sorbet. I love everything about it and buy it regularly for myself now. It costs £1.94 from Boots and Asda also sell it. I can't recall the price Asda sell it for but I know it is a little bit cheaper than Boots (well isn't that a surprise?), however I often buy this with my Boots points as a little treat. The smell is just absolutely amazing and I could not hope to do it ...  Read the complete review

I've been a fan of Original Source products for quite some time. I'm a sucker for a freebie and they used to have a great offer where you could order a mini shower gel or bath foam and once you'd used it and written a review, you could select another to try. This generally meant my bathroom cabinet was stocked full of delightful miniature smellies. Sadly, this offer is no more, so I've now reverted to buying my shower gels. Whilst rushing around Wilkinson's to buy some litter for my kitty, I spotted Original Source Shower Smoothies on offer. They cost £1.99 and were BOGOF so I decided to treat myself. The Smoothies come in three 'flavours,' Refreshing ...  Read the complete review

Now lets just get one thing clear before I start. I am not much of a man for showers. Now, that doesn't mean I do not wash; it simply means that for hygiene, I simply prefer to have a bath. That doesn't mean though that I do not like shower gel. Gel, I find, is a much more pleasant alternative to soap. But no, I am a bath man- if only because it is one of the few times I can get half an hour peace and because I can lay back, soak and read a book- something that although I have tried in the shower, only results in soggy pages. Now, normally when it comes to shower gels, LYNX is my preferred gel of choice; not those ghastly, over-powering ones like ...  Read the complete review

Strong fresh fruity smell Not much lather, not the most moisturising of shower gels

Leaves skin soft & tingly, always on offer in Morrisons, when you can smell it it is a niceish smell Smell isn't strong enough or last very long, not to used in sensitive areas.

Nice smell, creamy texture Not much of a srub

lovely soft skin, gorgeous scent, cheap I'm not sure about the packaging
