Advantages: Smells OK, cheap

Disadvantages: Have to use quite a bit to get a decent amount of bubbles, nothing special

I bought this product ages ago when the Original Source range was on special offer. I never used to like the Original Source range, but after using a few really good products of theirs I started buying it more often, as their stuff can usually be picked up relatively cheaply.

The 'Bath Tea' comes in a clear plastic bottle with a black twist off top and actually looks a bit more like a soft drink than a bath product. In fact, it actually has warnings on the bottle not to drink it! It contains white tea and grapefruit which they say is 'restorative' as it has skin protecting qualities.

The bath tea has a lovely smell. It's very sharp and citrussy which I guess is to be expected given that it contains grapefruit. It's quite a sharp, zesty scent, and I would say perfect for the mornings as it really wakes you up.

Before I used this I wasn't sure if it would produce any bubbles or not, as it doesn't actually say anywhere on the bottle. I found that it did produce some bubbles but not a lot, so the second time I used it I poured in a lot more of the liquid than I had previously in order to achieve a decent amount.

The scent of the product is fairly strong, and I found that it lasted throughout the duration of my bath, which was nice, and also somewhat unexpected from a product in this price range. The bubbles felt quite creamy and were nice against my skin, but seemed to fade really quickly and had almost disappeared by the end of my bath.

After my bath my skin felt no different. The product wasn't drying which was a good thing, but it didn't appear to have benefited my skin in any way really.

A 500ml bottle of this product costs £1.47 from ASDA or you can also get it from Boots, and I think they charge closer to the £2 mark. This might sound relatively good value considering the size of the bottle, but as mentioned, I found that I had to use quite a lot of it to make a decent amount of bubbles, so one bottle will go quickly.

So in conclusion, I found this product smelled really lovely and was fairly cheap too. The main negative point was that I had to use quite a bit to produce a decent amount of bubbles and it didn't seem to do a lot for my skin. I think the best way to sum up, is that this is just your average, run of the mill bubble bath, and I doubt I would buy it again.
