I really can't imagine a single person not loving the scent of Origins: Gloomaway Grapefruit Body-Buffing Cleanser. The scent literally lifts your spirits, which makes it perfect for the days where you are dragging.

This product is a daily exfoliator and cleanser combination that will lift dead skin cells and cleanse your skin at the same time.

Gloomaway Grapefruit Body-Buffing Cleanser comes in a 5 ounce (150ml) tube that retails for £18.
The Grapefruit scent is muted, and doesn't have the sour smell one might imagine.
Tiny exfoliating bits mix with a nice lather to exfoliate and cleanse at the same time.

Origins Gloomaway Grapefruit Body-Buffing Cleanser is a basic gentle exfoliating body cleanser that uses tiny bits to buff away dead skin cells while its lather cleanses your skin. It's gentle enough that you can use it every day.

As gentle and basic as this may sound, Gloomaway has scored a new place as one of my favorite smelling skin care products. Gloomaway smells like grapefruit, but not in a sour, puckering way. In fact, when I think of other grapefruit scented products, this doesn't really smell like them at all. It's much sweeter, like a grapefruit cut and covered with sugar. Its scent is happy, and you can't help but feel your mood change for the positive when you first smell it. My plan is to use this in the dead of winter, when the thermometer is stuck at zero and there are multiple feet of snow on the ground. It will add a little bit of sunshine to my day.

The color of the gel is a sunny yellow, and the bits of jojoba beads and apricot seeds are dark orange in color. Because they are beads and seeds, they don't have jagged edges like salt and sugar scrubs have. Origins uses coconut based cleansers in this product which help add extra moisture in your skin. You'll definitely want to moisturiser after use, but you won't feel dehydrated like you can with some body washes. (It's always important to moisturize after your shower or bath. If you don't you'll get the dry, itchy skin we all try to avoid.)

Yes you are slightly paying for the brand but this really is up lighting and revitalising which really awakens you first thing in the morning! Not something I would buy over and over again but I certainly wouldn't turn my nose up at it!
