Advantages: Does what is says it will

Disadvantages: Packaging may be a little plain for a poshy gal

I was fortunate to have bought my bottle of Palmer's for £1 in pound-land a few weeks ago.

I have seen it in all god chemists though and on my local market.

I'm always buying toiletries and I get a lot of free stuff as my mate owns a beauty salon.
As a qualified beauty therapist I really should know a lot better.
I know how to look after myself but I'm really just a lazy lump, particularly in the winter!
I'm too cold to spend hours in the shower using sugar scrubs and sitting around using face masks I just can not be bothered and the thought if sitting in my altogether rubbing a body lotion over myself in minus 0 just isn't funny.
So I tend to do all the basics and if I'm going out i will brave it and do a proper beauty regime.

Just lately though my legs have become itchy and my skin has felt tight, particularly after bathing.
I do change my soaps, shower gels and bath foams but it makes no difference and its not helped that I shave my bits at every opportunity!
I have a box of body lotions on top of my wardrobe (that's how keen I am lol) and decided a couple of days ago I really do need to take action.
So i rummaged around all my body lotions when I came across this bottle of Palmer's.
Says on the front it is enriched with vitamin E thought I'll try this one.

The packaging....

White bottle, flip top lid.
In the picture on this site it is shown to be a pump, mine isn't.
Mine is a 250ml recyclable bottle.
Basic design, nothing special but not ugly.

The product itself...

Reasonably thick light green lotion, packed with olive oil and added Vitamin E.
Smell is quite delicate and it smells very natural rather than disguised with added fragrances.
(if you got dry itchy skin like mine and are rubbing it on where you shave you don't want added fragrances).
As you smooth on the skin it doesn't get thick and look like your rubbing in soap it simply soaks in.
I noticed no sting even though I'd only shaved a couple of hours ago and as soon as it was applied my legs felt more supple and more comfortable.
It doesn't feel greasy or heavy and I put my silk nightdress on a few minutes after and no unsightly stains appeared.
I only was putting it on my legs but have applied it everywhere now and I feel like a new woman!
Excellent product suitable for the whole family as it is Hypo allergenic.
If your after a product that you think is cutting edge or fancy then this isn't it.
This is simply a product that does as it promises with no frills!

Summary: A good all round body moisturiser
