Advantages: Soft silky skin

Disadvantages: the bottle

I went to the toiletries shelf planning on buying 'Palmers coco butter formula' when i saw this new 'Palmers Olive Butter Formula'. Knowing how good the Coco Butter cream is i thought i'd try this new Olive Oil cream out.

**Packaging**

It comes in the same designed bottle as the Coco Butter formula, which is a 250ml white plastic bottle. The label is green with pictures of small olives on the front. It clearly says on he front of the bottle Olive Butter Formula with vitamin E. Organic Olive Oil for healthy skin. The Palmers name wrote in abright orange colour bubble.
The lid of the bottle is much like a shampoo bottle, where you push the tab down with your thumb then squeeze out the cream from the opening.
The downside to this bottle design is that you dont know how much you have used up or have left as you cant see the cream in the bottle as it white. Once the cream starts to run out its hard to get the last few drops out of the bottle without shaking it hard upside down.

**The Product**

Ive been told by many people how great Olive Oil is for you if you cook with it, now it seems its not only great for cooking with but also great for your skin!
Palmers claims that Extra Olive Oil takes care of the skin in three different ways lipid structure moisturizes instantly, its loaded with antioxidants to keep skin youthful and emulsifies on contact for superior skin smoothing.
Also this product is NOT tested on animals which is always a good thing!

**My Experince of the cream**

The lid pops up easily and the opening is just big enough to squeeze out the right amount of cream. The cream is light green in colour and smells fantastic! Its a light sweet fragrance that lasts on your skin for an hour or so. The texture of the cream is smooth and light, when you apply it to your skin it absorbs very quickly and doesnt leave your hands feeling greasy.
My skin felt instantly softer, i applied the cream on my freshly shaved legs and afterwards they felt like silk! Overall this really is a great body cream!

**The price and availbility**

I purchased this cream in Tesco for £2.98. I have seen this cream eslewhere since in Asda, Sainburys and Boots all around the £3 price mark.

Summary: Great softening cream with sweet smell
