Advantages: Smells good, good price, leaves skin feeling lovely

Disadvantages: Boring packaging

Palmer's moisturizing body oil can be used as a bath oil just applied to the skin as a moisturiser.

The best thing about this stuff is that it smells like chocolate! It contains cocoa butter and this gives it a lovely scent of chocolate without being overpowering or too sweet.

A capful in the bath will give you a lovely relaxing chocolate scented bath which leaves your skin feeling nice and soft. For a more intense moisturising effect it can be used as a body oil which really does leave skin very soft indeed. On the bottle they recommend using it when you get out of the bath and patting dry but I find it is absorbed quite quickly so don't generally bother with the patting dry. Really good for dry skin but I'd recommend just using it as a treat for any skin - it just leaves it feeling so silky smooth and soft. And the delicious smell makes it feel like even more of a treat! Being an oil it also works really well for soothing legs after shaving/waxing without blocking the pores.

It's a nice light oil which looks appealing as it's a lovely golden yellow colour with the subtle scent of chocolate. As with most Palmer's products, the packaging doesn't do it justice - it looks cheap and boring but the bottle is perfectly functional with a secure cap so no leaks. And really pretty packaging is not important! The information is all written on the back of the front label so has to be read through the bottle which can be slightly annoying although there is nothing vital on there. Quite hard to read if the level of the oil is cutting through the bit you're looking at!

A 250ml bottle costs just over £6 in Boots which is fairly cheap for a bath oil and for something so versatile (and yummy) is quite a bargain. I did get mine from quite a big Boots store and I don't think it is stocked in many of the smaller stores but if you can find it it's worth buying especially if it's on special offer which it often is in Boots.

Summary: Buy some :)
