I had heard so many good reviews about Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Firming Lotion that i decided to give it a go. I spotted it in Superdrug priced at £3.27. I thought this was a little expensive but as it was a big bottle i thought it would last a long time. I have always had problems with very dry skin on my elbows and knees. I wanted something that would be a deep moisturiser to make my skin feel better. Palmers claims to heal and soften rough and dry skin and contains vitamin e which is excellent for the skin. It also contains cocoa butter (which i love the smell of) and collagen. When i opened it and smoothed it over my skin, a chocolate ... Read the complete review

I started using palmers cocoa butter at the end of 2005 after giving birth . I needed something good value yet effective and since effect can only be judged once an item is bought, I opted to go for the cheaper option for me - palmers cocoa butter. This particular lotion contained Vitamin E and collagen too (both known to restore skin) and so,the product did a good job of tempting me. The lotion had quite a thick consistency for a lotion but smelled very sweet ( just like cocoa butter normally does). It absorbed fairly quickly into the skin leaving behind a little bit of the cocoa butter smell. I applied the product religiously ... Read the complete review

I first bought this lotion when I was looking for a cream to moisturise my skin as well as get rid of stretch marks (I just had a baby). Palmers Skin Firming lotion is smooth and not too dense. As such it glides on easily when applied. Unlike some cocoa butters in the market, Palmers lotion doesn't feel or smell heavy. It has a very light pleasing fragrance which disappears after a few hours. I find this excellent especially if you wear perfume - this lotion won't interfere with it as it's so subtle. The lotion comes in a flattish bottle (space saving) with push pump dispenser (very useful for avoiding messy marks all over the bottle!). The lotion itself whilst is not ... Read the complete review

This lotion disapointed me, as it is Palmers so i thought that it would be good so i gave it a try. I used it after my bath it took a long time to cream in and it had no fragrance im not going to complain about that because it said that on the bottle. I've been using it for a little while and i havent noticed any difference in my skin, maybe more muscles in my arm because it was tough to cream it in. i didnt like it! ... Read the complete review

I first decided to try this product because, one i saw it in a magazine and it said It was ment to firm tone and minimise marks on the skin and also i like to try different products to try and fing the best. This was definatly one of the best The first thing i noticed was it was a lot cheeper than the other lotions which promised to tone your body.... this could be a good or bad sign... depending how you look at things. The coca butter formula comes in two forms.. one is in a curvy bottle.. and the other is in a tub. there is a slight difference. They are the same product but in different consistancys. The one in the bottle flows more and is easier to ... Read the complete review
