I'm massively into my beauty and skincare products but surprisingly have never been one for body moisturisers. Mainly because I have been very lucky that my skin is soft and I never have suffered from overly dry skin. However since getting pregnant I have found that I have developed a number of dry patches of skin on various parts of my body. It was recommended from friends that I try Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula which not only moisturises skin it smoothes marks and one friend even claimed that it " helps minimise stretch marks", so I decided to give this product a go. ***Packaging*** The packaging is not the most attractive. ... Firstly, I would recommend all of the Palmers products, as they really are well-formulated and good value for money. This product is no exception. With vitamin E, UVB and UVA protecting ingredients, and moisturising cocoa butter, this is a great formula and a great replacement for your normal moisturiser on the parts of you which will be exposed to the sun. HOWEVER... the texture of this product leaves a little to be desired. Perhaps I'm used to piling lots of my normal cocoa butter on because I have dry skin, but this took a lot of rubbing in to finally disappear. OK, so this is Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula but it has an SPF 15 UVA/UVB Protection added. (Which obviously does not make it the purest of products really) This is really handy for someone like me as I have very fair skin and if I so much as step out of the shadows when I go outside at lunchtime, I go very very red indeed. I think it is a very good idea as I don't know about anyone else but I find it difficult when I moisturise my body to then have to put sun cream on top; the smells just don't match!
