Advantages: Inexpensive, works like a dream, great smell.

Disadvantages: Hard to get out of container when running low

Being a bit of a body moisturiser junkie, I can't recommend this one highly enough. I have used all the palmers products for many years and despite trying numerous other moisturisers, I always go back.

I have quite dry skin, and it is sensitive, but none of the palmer's products cause me any problems.

This review in particular is for Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula in the pump dispenser. In my opinion it is excellent value for money (around £3.99 for a 400ml bottle) and if you try it I promise you will never go back.

The product itself is thick and luxurious feeling. It has a very smooth texture and is a creamy colour. The fragrance is fantastic, a light cocoa butter smell. It smells very natural, not synthetic at all. If you don't want fragrance, you are able to buy this product in a fragrance free version. I have tried this and it performs just as well. However, I think you are missing out as this is such a lovely smell!

The pump action container obviously makes it easier to dispense the product. However, the pump does tend to stop working when there is still a good few applications left in the bottle. As the product is so thick, it does become harder to get out of the container once it is getting low. I cut them open with scissors and scoop it out! I have to remove one star because of this... although the product itself is worth ten stars!

It is enriched with vitamin E which is great for skin health and vitality. I use this product every day, but it also makes a great after sun moisturiser. It can help to smooth and blend in unattractive skin marks and scars, and can also help with preventing stretch marks during pregnancy, or reducing the appearance of them if you already have them.
