On offer in my local shop was Palmolive Aquarium hand soap. The product was on a special offer so I was naturally drawn to it. It was three bottles for just less than two pounds. An excellent start to my shopping that day. What I like about this particular hand soap is the packaging, it is lovely. The bottle is clear plastic with the brand at the top then inside the bottle is a little aquarium with little fish freely floating about amongst rocks and coral, how cute is that! The little aquarium you get inside the bottle has very vivid colours and certainly brightens up wherever you want to put the soap. The top of the bottle has a white plastic pump action ... My latest offering in the hand wash stakes were a great bargain we got from Asda where we got three bottle of Palmolive hand wash for £2. Usually they retail at £1.64 each so this was a bargain we couldn't resist. My other half chose the aquarium version for our bathroom upstairs as it looked nice to the eye on the shelf, and we thought our toddler might appreciate something pretty to look at as we encourage her to use soap when washing her hands. The hand wash is designed in a pump action bottle with the outer plastic being clear apart from the front where it changes into a fake aquarium of back water and fish. The little nemo fish is a great hit with ... Read the complete review

Back in 1898 a gentleman called B.J. Johnson from the United States developed a formula for a new soap made out of palm and olive oil. The product, Palmolive was so popular that he named his company after it. At the turn of the century Palmolive was the world's best selling soap. In 1928 they bought the Colgate Company to become Colgate-Palmolive. Today the soap is just as popular as it has ever been. They produce my favourite line of liquid soaps and have quite a few different varieties to choose from such as the hypoallergenic range and the florals range but for this review I am going to concentrate on the Aquarium Hand Soap. Probably the ... Read the complete review

Palmolive is an old company renowned for their soaps. I grew up with Imperial Leather soap, but my husband used Palmolive, so I used to buy a bar sometimes just to keep him happy! When liquid soaps became popular I started to buy them but the men in my family said they preferred "proper" soap, they are now converted I am glad to say. I usually look out for reductions when I'm shopping and buy bottles of liquid soap to keep in the cupboard, saving pennies is important these days. I was pleased to see Tesco had Palmolive on sale at two 300ml bottles for £1.50 so popped some in the trolley. I must have had a senior moment as the one bottle was called ... Palmolive Aquarium is one of a range of liquid soaps from Palmolive. I prefer to use liquid soaps to bar soaps as I think they are more hygienic and I have always found the Palmolive soaps to be good quality. This one is slightly different to the others as it has a bit of a gimmicky bottle. The aquarium liquid soaps have as the name suggests an aquarium in the bottle, the bottle is see through and the background and the front of the bottle has pictures of sea plants and then in the middle is a fish or a dolphin which moves around as you tip the bottle. The one in the product picture is one of those fishes that puffs itself up (sorry don't know the proper ... Read the complete review
