I love cooking fresh dinners for my boys every night, but I do hate the smell that it often leaves on my hands all night long! When I make my Chicken Curry and Chilli Con Carne, I have to chop up both onion and garlic, which really lingers on your fingers, and I am smelling it until the next morning because the soap I normally use just masks the smell for a short while and doesn't remove the smell at all. I like to use an anti-bacterial hand wash in my kitchen, as I'm very conscious of washing my hands when cooking- especially if I've been handling meat. I find hand wash more convenient than soap but it can be a little bit more expensive, so when I saw Wilkinson's had this product on special offer at around 79p a couple of months ago, I decided to try it. As part of my recent offer on hand wash in Asda, I also picked up the odour neutralising hand wash which I thought would be good to combat the smell of onion on my hands. This is something that happens a lot, especially when I am trying to be organised and cook a family meal from scratch. Usually the ingredients contain onion and or garlic, therefore me hands always smell for hours afterwards. I also liked the fact that this hand wash claimed to have an anti bacterial agent. Palmolive Odour Neutralising Liquid Handwash claims that its special formula neutralises stinky smells on your hands, such as onions and garlic. It also contains an antibacterial agent which helps to remove germs from your hands. Palmolive reckon that it should leave your hands 'feeling clean, fresh and protected' So does it do all that it purports? I hate anything that tastes, or even smells like, lemon or lime.
