Advantages: Heavenly smell, attractive price, cleans too

Disadvantages: nope, none

Isn't it funny how looks can be decieving.
I mean, who would have guessed that inside my four bedroomed semi on the outskirts of Nottingham, up the stairs and to the left is a great big sunken bath, with palm trees surrounding it. There are bronzed men in loin cloths pouring milk, from large gold jugs and in the background,an 8 piece orchestra plays a relaxing melody.
It is from this haven of indulgence I write to you now.

Well of course I am dreaming again. My bathroom is so damn small I would have trouble getting myself and a plumber in there, let alone two bronzed men and an 8 piece orchestra. Not that I would mind trying to squeeze in there with 2 bronzed men you understand.

I have, in fact, just got out of the bath and I am sitting, dripping, in front of the computer, ready to tell you about the product I am committed to when it comes to bath times and shower times in my house.

I am talking about Palmolive Shower and Cream with Milk and Honey.

I have been using this product now for at least a year. When I tried it for the first time I found it has so much wow factor that I haven't yet found anything to better it.

It comes in an oval shaped container, white with a mustard coloured lid. It's made of tough, strong plastic and I have given it the squeeze test and no matter how hard you squeeze, the lid stays firmly shut and none of the goodness inside escapes.
There are no advertising gimmicks on the side of this one,in-fact there is not very much at all. The container is very plain and ordinary looking and I wonder whether, at first glance, people would assume that the contents of this bottle were just as plain. They would be very wrong.
The top is one of these flip top ones. The only thing that I can find wrong with this is that there is no handy hook to hang it up with in the shower, but seeing as I use it in the bath as well that becomes less of an issue and it means it sits happily on the
side of the bath.

You don't need very much of this gorgeous cream to create a real lather. I like to use one of those bath scrunchies with mine but have found a sponge to do just as good a job.
A squirt about the size of a fifty pence piece is enough and any more would be wasteful.
What hits you immediately with this product is its incredible odour. The smell of this is absolutely sublime. I can smell honey. Not that nasty sweet artificial honey smell that we come across so often. This smells like the real deal. I have to tell you that this is a really arousing aroma, I can see why Cleopatra chose to bath in the stuff now.To say it smells good enough to eat is no understatement and my husband has said just those words to me when I have climbed into bed immediately after bathing.

The cream is quite thick, but not too thick, and I would describe it as creamy in both colour and consistency.

One noticeable thing is that when you dunk the sponge in the water the creme still lingers on the sponge, unlike some that wash off with first contact with water.

It feels smooth on my skin and I can smell it on my body when I get out of the bath. I had my bath at 7.30 this morning, it is now 12.00pm and I can still smell that gorgeous honey smell on my skin even now.
The bathroom still smells of this too and I love it.

I paid £1.95 for my 250ml bottle, but I bought it from Morrison's where they are on BOG at the moment so I got two.
The bottle lasts a long time and I usually buy one a fortnight, but then it is used by the whole family both in the shower and in the bath too.

I cannot praise this product enough...I love the lingering smell and the feel of it on my skin. It left my skin feeling cleansed and moisturized and totally invigorated.
I have to tell you that it would take something a bit special to make me change from using this at bathtime.

This is a definite thumbs up!

Thanks

Puts quite a different perspective on 'a taste of honey'
