Premium Review Palmolive Soft & Gentle Aroma Therapy Soft Jasmine Roll-on: Super subtle smelling scent! (1026 words)

I'm not normally fussy about deodorants - I just pick up the first one I see in the shop and buy it. However, the last one I bought was very overpowering and smelled a bit too strong. For that reason the next time I went shopping I chose more carefully, and ended up with Palmolive's Soft & Gentle Cool Cotton deodorant. I'm reviewing the stick version, as shown on the left in the picture above. ~Palmolive~ Palmolive is made by the company Colgate-Palmolive. As you may guess from the name of the company, they also make Colgate toothpaste, as well as making Ajax household cleaner, and more surprisingly Hill's Science Plan dog food. Premium Review Permission to sniff (710 words)

Until a couple of months ago, I had an aversion to using any kind of roll on deodorant. I think I associated it with memories of when I was a teenager and was forced to use the roll on variety. I remember them to be sticky, uncomfortable and generally not very fragranced and appealing. So as soon as I could buy my own deodorant, I was buying sprays or cream sticks. I am also however a stickler for buying deodorant when it's on offer, and a couple of months ago I went to buy some and there was no sprays on a decent offer. I saw a roll on version of the spray I like to use being promoted at just a £1, so I had no argument not to try it again. I knew the ...  Read the complete review

Deodorant is one of lifes little essentials and over the years I have tried many in my quest to be dry and smell pleasant. I am not a fan of deodorant sprays, they always seem to leave white powder under my arms and I also seem to be quite incapable of spraying it just on me and get a lot more in the air so its also a waste me using them so I always buy roll ons. Now my boyfriend has a habit of running out of deodarant and then starts to use mine due to this even with me teasing him that he will smell like a girl. Last month I went to use mine to find that not only had he finished his off he had also used the last of mine so I had to make ...  Read the complete review

When it comes to deodorants I simply own loads of them (don't we all lol). I prefer spray on one's as a rule but I can be swayed by price of a product of course and I do like trying different things out! I do like Palmolive Soft & Gentle products in the antiperspirant sprays because I find they don't spray on white and I like the fragrances so when I saw the roll on at the reduced price of 50p per said deodorant in my local Sainsbury's (usual price about £1.29 per roll on) I had high hopes for it being a good buy although not my usual method of trying to remain stink free! The Packaging.... Slightly different to the review photograph (tut at ...  Read the complete review

I first tried this anti perspirant because my old brand just wasn't cutting it for me any more, so I decided it was time for a change. The reason that this stood out to me on the shelf was the claim of 24 hour odour and wetness control, fair enough but I don't need it to last a whole 24 hours before I have another shower! As it was priced at £1.00 for 50ml (Asda) I thought this was reasonable and went for it. The bottle is a nice shape and as it has a shaped groove into the back it feels natural and fits nicely into your hand when you are applying. The fragrance of the Soft Jasmine is lovely, it's not overpowering but at the same time ...  Read the complete review
