The graphics on the bottle are colourful and clearly designed to appeal to children. The fragrance we have is 'Berry Cherry' and it has a lovely fruity smell which lingers for a while on the hands but is not over-powering. The smell is of cherries and a mixture of other berries and I really like it. It's just a fresh, fun smell that works well for children of both sexes. When y...more

Premium Review Palmolive Splish Splash Splosh Cherry Berry Handwash: Clean hands with one squirt from the penguin (565 words)

I bought Palmolive Splish Splash Splosh as a means of encouraging my two year old to be better at washing his hands. Like many toddlers, he has great enthusiasm for standing at the sink and splashing in the water, but slightly less enthusiasm for actually using soap - given his tendency to play in the mud, carry sticks and pick up handfuls of small stones every time we're out for a walk, anything that gets his hands clean has got to be worth a try. We spotted this product while browsing in Boots for some basic liquid hand-wash for the kitchen. My son noticed the penguin design on the bottle and started shouting 'Penguin' at it, so I picked it up for a closer ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Make a splash with a penguin! (562 words)

I originally purchased this penguin shaped hand wash as a joke for my boyfriend as he is obsessed with penguins, and we needed some handwash! The handwash was a big hit though, and so I make sure I buy it every now and then, as well as any time I need a stocking filler etc! Where can I get this from? I usually get this handwash from Boots, but you can also get it from supermarkets and chemists - anywhere that usually sells handwash. If you're trying to track this product down, it's very easy to find - just look for the friendly looking penguin nestles amongst the other blander looking products! There are several different varieties, but the Berry ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Palmolive Splish Splash Splosh Cherry Berry Handwash: Great for kids reluctant to wash their hands (218 words)

I was originally purchased this hand wash by my best friend because of my love of penguins (as a jokey present!), and keep it by my sink. The container is very appealing for young children, and my niece absolutely loves it! The container is shaped like a penguin, and comes in some really attractive colours. The pump nozzle is really easy to use, and my friends' and relatives' children find it so simple. It comes out of the container as foam and lathers up really well when hands are wet. It smells really strongly of berries, and the children I know who have used it have loved that! It gets their hands really clean as well. I think that in ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Berry cherry children! (873 words)

As with most of my reviews, the products that I end up reviewing were purchased solely for use of my darling children, this product is no different! The product I am reviewing was purchased as a novelty type of product to encourage my children to wash their hands. This unfortunately is due to the fact that there seems to be an epidemic of sorts going around my daughters school, and according to the chemist whom I purchased the threadworm tablets from, around a few schools due to the fact she had sold out twice that week alone of the afore mentioned tablets! Anyway I digress. This product was recommended by the chemist as a way of encouraging my ...  Read the complete review
