Advantages: Noise free, great epilation with less pain, the only one using a wet method !

Disadvantages: Colour maybe and some people are scared of it!

I'm like most women who always wanted to look good under any circumstances (even very early at the morning!) and always wanted the best for themselves especially when it comes to hygiene and skin care. Since I entered the world of womanhood, I started removing excess and unwanted hair form legs, arms and other sensitive areas using so many methods starting from home made DIY waxing which was messy and very sticky to ready made wax. . .also sticky and very painful and takes ages to finish but with long lasting results. I also tried hair removal foam and cream, it's very fast and easy, hassle free and you will be done in minutes but again...messy, horrible and chemical smell when applying and after use. Dry skin afterwards and results lasts for a couple of days! I was unfortunate enough to try using a razor and I can assure you it is the worst method out of them, I have tried it once when I was out from wax and the salon was closed, I was desperate! As a result I had a very dry itchy skin, redness, the hair came out at the same day and was tougher to remove every hair was stinging. . .I ended up with a beard like skin! I swear!

Therefore, I much preferred using the waxing technique for the beginning then at the last five years I went to a specialist salon because I am lazy and simply. . .didn't have enough time and I want perfect results!. We all appreciate the salon treatment results. . .well we look like celebrities but it is expensive and painful as well. My problem is that I'm a freak when it comes to body hair. I can't stand body hair and I won't rest until I completely demolished them all!

I would have carried on forever until I claimed my first £100 Amazon vouchers from Dooyoo so the first thing came to my mind is to buy a decent camera and a good quality epilator!
When I'm saying an epilator, a lot of men started to say. . . it's the MACHINE OF TORTURE! I know many men who keep asking why we are so obsessed with body hair and always longing for hair free-soft skin. Well it is a part of our personality. . .

As soon as I'm saying epilator we instantaneously thought a Braun epilator! Maybe because it was the first to introduce us the world of epilators or maybe it is the world's leading brand in this department. We have to say that it is a successful brand and millions of women trusted it! I have no obligation about it. . . it's only high. . .PRICED!

To be honest when I searched Amazon.co.uk for epilator I was looking only for a Braun one but with such a tight budget, I had to make a compromise and I started to look for another brand that does the job with less to pay. I had to be quick because I don't live in the UK and the vouchers can only be redeemed from Amazon.co.uk so A good English friend of mine let me used his address so the goods will be despatched to his home and then he redirect them to Spain...I paid the P&P of course. . .

I was surprised to find so many GOOD brands out there, I looked carefully at the epilators and their specifications and the prices. . .I was so picky and very uncertain until very late at night (around 3am) I found something which I really liked, it was very different from others with special features and it looked elegant, so after all that rummaging around I finally found what I wanted!

***Panasonic ES2058 Wet & Dry Epilator***

First. . .why Panasonic?

Panasonic is formerly known as Matsushita, it is originally a Japanese multinational corporation founded in 1918 but now most of the good are manufactured in China (cheaper labor maybe). Panasonic was ranked the 59th largest company in the world in 2007 and it is among the Worldwide Top 20 Semiconductor Sales Leaders.

Right. ..Back to the product. . .Panasonic ES2058

This product came in a pinkish glossy rectangular box, which was partially translucent showing the epilator and beautifully illustrated with pictures and useful and quick start up information. Opening the box to find a white plastic tray with the epilator along with the two heads and the caps, the brush, the charger, soft white pouch and the instructions, all topped with clear cover showing off the content and keeping the goods secured.

Inside the box you will find

* 1 x Epilator
* 1 x Power Adaptor
* 2 x protection cap, one for each head.
* 1 x Shaving Head.
* 1 x Small epilation head for bikini and Underarms.
* 1 x Large epilation head for Legs and arms.
* 1xBikini comb and please don't ask what is it for!!
* 1 x Soft Case(pouch).
* 1 x Cleaning Brush.
* 1 x Operating Instructions, a booklet and quick start leaflet.

Right. . .I'm going to explain each one listed, when and how to use it in the next paragraph.

* The epilator

The look, shape and the colour.

It has a beautiful unique shape, unlike most epilators which are square or bulky shaped, this one has SEXY curves! Specially shaped to give comfort while holding in hand for longer period, it is not heavy and you hold it curves so you will not have a sore palm afterwards. I LOVED the colour...It was metallic pearly white merged with two shades of matt pink( dark and light) and has a gorgeous metallic pink strip on the neck of the epilator. It looks very elegant and sophisticated, good enough to be looked at!
At the top, there is a changeable head and from the sides of the epilator you can find two small release buttons, you have to press them together gently to allow the head to come off and change it with the other one you desire.

There is a semi circle white button with two positions in addition to 0 which is for the charging position, one is for low speed epilation (less pain, usually used when using dry epilating way) and two for high speed(used normally when using the wet epilating method)

At the back, a small sliver sticker showing the shower sign meaning that you can use it in showers and a bin sign warning you not to dispose it with usual household waste!( as if I will!)

In addition, you can find the company name and address the voltage, charging time and the manufacturing country, which is china.
At the bottom of the epilator you can find the charging point.

I can give for the unique shape and the elegant colour unbiased 10/10

* Two protection caps for each head
Clear pink protection cover for each head.

* One shaving head
To be honest, I never used it and I'm not going to. It is a small head with a small frame release button to take off to clean after use. On the front of the head, there is a pop up trimmer switch to cut up longer hair.

* Bikini comb
This can be attached to the shaver head to be used to shave the bikini line...not so sure about this really MAYBE IT WORKS LIKE A HEAD SHAVER LOL!

* Large epilation head for Legs and arms
One of my favourite pieces. Sliding the protective cap to find white epilator head with metallic pink frame pink and silver tweezers. Inside the head you can see skin protector( the metal part from the outside), a foam keeper with a special place to the keep the foam in. Also a foam wiper (the outside pink plastic piece attached at the back of the head). Finally, a frame release button as well.

* Small epilation head for bikini and under arms(sensitive areas)
Another must have piece. Most women suffer when removing excess hair from this area as it is the most delicate area on the body and has high sensitivity but with this one, I can assure you a smooth, easy, tranquil and stress-free process.

Has exactly the same specifications as the large epilation head but this time with foam keeper on both sides.

These were all the main pieces...now the accessories

* A cleaning brush to dry clean the heads.
* A small white or silver pouch to keep your epilator in when travelling.
* A small booklet of 59 pages...don't be disheartened...it's written with many languages so only read the instructions written in your language(maximum 10 pages) and if you are too lazy to read a quick user guide is included with illustrations!

* A three points adapter for charging, so if you are travelling abroad make sure to bring your converter(travel adapter).

**When using dry epilation**

Unlike most epilators, this one was very quiet, gentle and nearly noise free so you won't left with a headache every time you use it.

If you are using epilators for the first time....please bear in mind few tips.

* Before using it's better to exfoliate and rub the skin very well in order to left the shorter hair

* Make sure that the skin is dry and free from creams and oils to avoid slippery application and have perfect results.

* For best results place the epilator at 90 degrees and move it correctly depending on hair growth (against hair growth eventually). . .

* Upwards from the bottom of the legs and upper arms,

* work the opposite way with the arms, move inward from the outside of the arm

*Finally underarms and bikini line, move in several directions.

***Wow. . .I was surprised with the results!***

***The pain (with dry epilation)***

I used the dry method on one of my legs. I won't lie to you, there was some pain at the beginning but because it has a unique Skin Protector System, it ensured a great comfort and holds down the skin as it extracts the hair from the root, reducing pain and helping the skin to keep it's moister. The pain is like a slight tingling or needles BUT it was a lot better and less aching than waxing method, in fact the pain ease up after five minutes and I started to like the experience.

**The action**

It's like having a mini massager in your hands, I felt that my skin rubbed gently with every move. The epilating head is flexible so it can move in any direction and can reach awkward places easily. The tweezers are small, sharp and pressed tightly to ensure that no single hair is left without being plucked even the smallest hair! Mine was pretty short (less than 2mm) which can not be removed by waxing but it when using Panasonic epilator the results was astonishing! I didn't believe what I saw, it's better than a salon treatment with less effort, shorter time and money saving as well.

**The results**

I was left with Shiny, soft and hair free skin. I have sensitive skin so there was some redness for around half an hour but the tenderness was completely gone later. If you have a sensitive skin like me, I recommend using some cold ice and rub it into your skin or if you are in a hurry, you can leave it as it is.

After finishing, you can add your favourite butter cream to your legs or some baby oil for extra shiny sexy legs, you will feel a little stings but it will be relieved soon.

***The wet epilation... I'm so excited to try it...I wanna get wet!***

As far as I know this is the only epilator that has a foaming system, it is the World First Wet and Dry Epilator. I saw many shavers actually but never an epilator, so I was suspicious for a while until I had used it in both dry and wet ways. I can confirm that the wet method is too fun to use, easy epilation, fast and I was left with a silky-smooth body!

Few tips before using

* For best results, wet your skin before using, having a shower or (even better) a bath will open your pores and make the hair softer and easier to be removed.
* Wet the discs with water and add a small quantities of the foam, liquid or gel (any brand) on the wet discs.
* Turn on the switch and let the foam lathered then you can start!

**How does it work?**

When the double discs rotate, the foam will be created, applying the foam to the skin will stimulate the skin and let the hair stand up also it will speed up the epilation process.

**The pain**

At the beginning I wasn't so sure about how to use the foaming system and what kind of foam I should use so the booklet was handy to use. The pain was hardly noticeable. . .I even would say there was no pain at all! I used in while I'm having a bath and surprisingly is was all wet and was working perfectly! Another good feature is it's ability to go cordless you can take it eventually every where!

**The action**

The foam helped the epilator to slide even faster and work faster and the other leg was done and dusted in less than five minutes! What do you think of that?

The extra foam was wiped and kept in by a special foam wiper so there was no mess and nothing disgusting drifted into my bath water!

**The results**
Soft, shiny and very sexy smooth to touch, the results were a lot better than the dry action. Now I know why they recommend using the wet method. No redness afterwards, no tingling sensation and the results was unbelievable!

The same applies to the bikini line and underarms but you have to take into consideration that these areas are very sensitive and you will feel the pain so I recommend to trim your hair as short as you can and use the wet application.

**Wet/Foam shaving**

I never used this method and I will not use it in the future, I prefer the epilation system, long lasting results and smoother skin but it's up to you to choose what you like.
It's as easy as the wet epilation, just wet the discs and apply the foam or liquid soap.

**Dry shaving**

I don't know how someone can use this but again it's a personal preference or maybe your partner can use it lol!
It is easy and fast but... shaving has its disadvantage that the some sections of shaved hairs can remain visible as black dots on the skin and grown back very fast also left your skin irritated with redness!
With such extraordinary results, I think I will carry on using Panasonic Es 2058.

***To sum up everything...why choosing Panasonic ES2058?***

**How to clean your epilator?**

Because it's water proof It can be completely washed and cleaned up using soap and running water or you can dry wipe it but never use spirits or alcohol to clean, I know some people do!

**Prices and availability**
It can be found from Panasonic main home page and most electric websites, ebay and Amazon (where I bought it) but I strongly recommend buying it as new for hygienic reasons. It comes with one year manufacturer's warranty.

The RRP price for Panasonic ES2058 is £59.99 and you can get it from Amazon shop for £45.70 but if you don't have to use Amazon vouchers , you can find them on the web for a bargain £39!

**As a conclusion**

What can I say?

I absolutely loved this machine, it was very practical, money and time saving as well. With their unique system that used foam, epilation is easier and much fun. I had a softer skin, I have gained the perfect look without the pain. The results lasting for four weeks and more. Sensitive areas where always a hard task for me but now it's not scary anymore lol.

I have perfect legs to bare, the perfect body to be proud of!

But, hey...is a 100% perfection? No one downside? I must be lying if I said it's so perfect! It is a great epilator as I aid however, there is only one disadvantage ...It is addictive! And I mean it! Also the colour might be not everyone's favourite but apart from that it is so PERRR...FECT!
