Even after rinsing, you are left with a small layer on your teeth. If you grind them, they crunch a bit, like your teeth are covered in tiny fragments of mint imperials. I used this and had the feeling that my teeth were not clean, merely coated. It is my belief that this is not an effective toothpaste, and so can only be used as an a...more

Premium Review Pearl Drops Party Sparkle....? (589 words)
by - written on 13/08/09 (Very useful, 75 readings)
Rating:

I bought this product in Superdrug in my search for whiter teeth. The packaging I'm afraid to admit drew me in, so that obviously worked. The box, silver and sparkly though I no longer have it so cannot go into detail, definitely caught my eye. The bottle itself contains 50ml of toothpaste and is designed to stand on its lid. However if you choose to then it will also stand on its base, which is an oval shape and flat. The word "sparkle" is written 4 times in three different fonts on the front on the product, with the brand name "Pearl Drops" featuring quite largely at the top in a bold circle of colour. The front also has small silver ...  Read the complete review

OK, OK, I confess! I’m a smoker, so go on, nag me to death and bash me over the head with a wet kipper, but I do, so there! I’m not proud of it and I try to be a considerate smoker, well, as considerate as any smoker can be! I smoke only menthol cigarettes, mainly at home in my own space; I never smoke in restaurants or in public places, and never in the company of non-smokers unless there are other smokers there too. I don’t need anybody to tell me all the pitfalls, I know I’m being stupid, that it will ultimately finish me off sooner than maybe I’d want to go, and I know all about the other problems associated with smoking, ...  Read the complete review

If you are a smoker, like me you will know that most toothpaste's don't get rid of the stains on your teeth, caused by tobacco, tea and coffee. I have found a toothpaste that actually get's rid of all these stains. New Pearl Drops Smokers Whitening. This toothpaste features a polishing system called protec 3, which combats even the most stubbiness of stains, and unlike most smokers toothpaste's it won't scratch the tooth enamel. Pearl Drops has tartar control so you can be sure, it protects your teeth against cavities, as well as breaking down stubborn stains. ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review TOO MUCH HYPE FOR THIS TOOTHPASTE TYPE? (788 words)

Rating:

'Pearl drops' have been around since Time Immemorial to my knowledge anyway; I always remember my old Nan swearing by this product for lovely white gnashers, and it is a very well known product in the world of oral hygiene. All that being said, I was slightly surprised at my sixteen year old daughter wanting to try some when we spotted them on a regular mooch around Poundland recently... Wafting a lovely green box with a lady's perfect row of upper teeth showing towards me excitedly, my animated child insisted she'd wanted to try this stuff for ages as she'd heard good things about it. Well all I can say to this is that school ground talk ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Pearl Drops: Abracadabra Magic Mouthwash !!!! Rid Your Smokers Mouth. (411 words)
by - written on 28/04/08 (Very useful, 169 readings)

Finding a really good mouthwash for me is a real problem, I do need to use mouthwash as I am a smoker and I feel I need it to help disguise the smell of smoke. The run of the mill mouthwashes tend to be too strong for me, and I developed ulcers or a rally sore tingle in my mouth that I find very uncomfortable. So finding a good mouthwash was needed. I have bought over a dozen different brands, over the last three months and none of which have helped. Until if found the Pearl Drops Smokers 1+1 mouthwash. The mouthwash The Pearl Drops Smokers 1+1 mouthwash is aimed at smokers, it helps to remove tar, and fights ...  Read the complete review
