Pears soap has got a lot of memories for me. I can remember it way back when I was a child. I only ever knew one person who used Pears soap. And that was my elderly Auntie. She always had a bar of Pears soap sitting by her kitchen sink. There was never a time when there wasn't a bar there. So, of course, I used to use this soap round hers. And that was the only time I ever used to wash with Pears soap, as nobody else I ever knew used Pears.
