Pears Soap ... skin, cleansing thoroughly, yet gently and rising clean. It is hypo-allergenic, contains a mild cleansing formula and no colorants. It is non comedogenic, so it won't clog pores.

I took it home and proudly displayed it in my bathroom. I really liked the bottle (probably because I was being a sad-act and the soap-bar shaped bottle amused me or the fact I was referring to the liquid as "amber" tut) so I went home and proudly displayed it in my bathroom and raved to anyone who would listen about how much I liked the bottle. And that was the only time I ever used to wash with Pears soap, as nobody else I ever knew used Pears. So, as you can imagine, I have very fond memories of this particular soap, and always conjurs up happy memories of my childhood round my Aunties place. The soap itself has actually been around since 1807, nearly 200 years. ...
