I adore Pears soap. It is really old-fashioned and wholesome! It has been around since the 18th century so you could say it has stood the test of time!

My husband has sensitive skin and yet has no reaction to this soap. It is really mild and good for your skin. It doesn't moisturise it but it doesn't dry it out.

It has a really distinct fresh smell that lasts on your hands. It is slightly earthy and slightly floral. It is not feminine at all so especially popular with men who tend to fare quite badly in the soap stakes and often have the put up with girly smelling toiletries.

It lathers well and lasts well. You do not need much in order to work up a really good lather.

I have also used this on my face and it cleans my pores really well and leaves my face feeling refreshed and very clean.

I have only just rediscovered this soap when they had some in the local pound shop. I had forgotten just how good a soap it is and so will be sticking to it in future.
