I have tried two products from retarDEX. One is the oral mouth rinse and the other is the spray. The first thing I noticed about the products is that they are excessively expensive and I honestly believe that if they dropped the price so that it was more competitive they could enjoy a much healthier revenue. For the spray I have to say that there is much ado abput nothing and although it works briefly and gives your mouth a minty flavour, it does not have long lasting effects and I feel that there is no way that I can justify the cost of this product which is usually in the region of £2.99 The mouth rinse however is a different thing. Thanks to my parents the only toothpaste I use costs £7.95! A classic situation of going home at Christmas minus a few toiletry essentials resulted in me trying the medicinal looking toothpaste and being hooked from then on! So what is Retardex? Its main claim is that it "Eliminates bad breath compounds" other claims being: "Fights plaque, Kills bacteria that cause tooth decay & gum problems, helps remove every day staining" The first thing i liked about Retardex what the fact it is non-foaming. I use a sonic toothbrush and had gotten used to looking like a rabid dog every time i brushed my teeth! ... Read the complete review

Retardex make a range of products that to maintain healthy teeth and gums. You can choose from oral rinse, toothpaste and an oral spray, or use the whole range. This range contains a unique ingredient, CloSYS 11, which has been scientifically proven to totally eliminate the sulphur compounds that cause bad breath. It doesn't just mask the odour but it actually breaks down the volatile sulphur compounds. There is no alcohol in the product and the manufacturers claim that a 30 second rinse lasts for eight hours. Most people have bad breath at some time and 9 out of10 cases originate from the mouth, either from diseased gums/teeth or general hygiene. We know how offensive it is to be on the receiving end of someone else’s bad breath so it is particularly embarrassing when we realise that, horrors, we too are causing people to back away with watery eyes. My husband kindly told me that I was suffering from unpleasant breath and I know it was because I had a build-up of tartar on my lower teeth. Whilst I waited impatiently for a dental appointment, I looked around for a good mouth wash. An advertisement in a newspaper caught my eye, extolling the ... Read the complete review
