... will realise I am no spring chicken. I am actually a middle aged mum who likes to look good. I find this shaver easy to use. It comes with 2 trimmers and an ultra foil for legs, armpits and bikini line. I like a close shave and this does the business. No cuts, nicks or anything sinister. I have tried a wet shave which I managed with no problems but I must admit I find the dry shave much easier, but that it just down to personal choice. Shaver comes with a little brush for cleaning which I recommend you use after ever...more

Premium Review Philips HP2750 Wet/Dry Rechargeable Ladyshave: Haircut Ma'am? (436 words)

Many years ago, I owned a Remington Ladyshave. It was about the time that shavers for ladies were introduced, and it was absolute rubbish. It rotted in my drawer and was eventually thrown out. I continued to shave using a wet razor, or occasionally I used some immac. Shaving has always been a chore to me, but I hate hairy legs and armpits, so it was put up or shut up. As it was my birthday recently, and not being able to think of what I really wanted when asked, I decided to ask for an electric razor. What the heck, I thought, technology must have improved over the years. I was given the Philips wet and dry rechargeable Ladyshave. ...  Read the complete review

I warned you that I would be writing about my Christmas presents didn't I? Well this one is a little belter! I had an electric Ladyshave made by Philips about 20 years ago and it still works, but only just. I find that as I am trying to shave under my arms the plug keeps working loose from the socket and the shaver keeps cutting out. So when mom and dad asked what they could buy me for Christmas I told them that a new Ladyshave would make life easier for me. They told me to choose one myself so that I got exactly what I wanted. When I came to look at the choice I was surprised by how many different makes and models there were. I could have ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Philips HP2750 Wet/Dry Rechargeable Ladyshave: My bikini line is trimmed neat and tidy! (525 words)

I think that I'm lucky as my body hair is fair and fine in texture. This means that, as far as my legs go, I only have to shave them on special occassions. On normal days, especially when I have a suntan, my legs look great without any special attention - well I think so at least and that is what really matters. When I do have to shave I use a Philips Ladyshave. My underarms and bikini line are different and I feel that these must have regular attention, again with my Ladyshave. I know that some people are quite 'into' hair. I had a boyfriend, for example, who persuaded me not to shave my underarms or pubic hair. It was a bit of a ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Hairy armpits... (475 words)

I know, most of the British people think that all German ladies have hairy armpits... but that's not true. Not all. But quite a lot. I never ever thought about it until I moved to England some 4 years ago. As you ladies know, we don't just watch men...no, we observe women as well. That's what I did - and I couldn't see any hairy armpits! The first summer in England I didn't mind; it was raining anyway. The second summer I didn't mind, because I was travelling a lot (Germany, Belgrade - hairy armpits everywhere!). It started all in my third summer. I hardly couldn't think of anything else. Should I shave or should I expose my hairy ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Philips HP2750 Wet/Dry Rechargeable Ladyshave: PURRFECT FOR THE LADIES (301 words)

I have had my Phillips for several years now in fact it is my second one I was bought an up dated one a while ago as a gift. Lets be honest ldies it is easier and quicker, in most cases less painful. I must admit I have never had my legs waxed but a friend of mine has and told me she experienced some real pain and it put me off. Maybe she is a sissy I don't know but I think I will stick to what I am used to and know works good enough for me. As advertised you can use it wet or dry I always use mine dry and use a nice cream to soften the skin afterwards. On my shaver you have two different settings one for the legs and one for underneath the ...  Read the complete review
