I have used many shavers over the years but this one rates quite favourably. Like most shavers it recommends that you charge it for at least 8 hours. I prefer a dry shave and have to shave from the armpits down, way down, this takes a while. By now you will realise I am no spring chicken. I am actually a middle aged mum who likes to look good. I warned you that I would be writing about my Christmas presents didn't I? Well this one is a little belter! I had an electric Ladyshave made by Philips about 20 years ago and it still works, but only just. I find that as I am trying to shave under my arms the plug keeps working loose from the socket and the shaver keeps cutting out. ... Read the complete review

I think that I'm lucky as my body hair is fair and fine in texture. This means that, as far as my legs go, I only have to shave them on special occassions. On normal days, especially when I have a suntan, my legs look great without any special attention - well I think so at least and that is what really matters. When I do have to shave I ... Many years ago, I owned a Remington Ladyshave. It was about the time that shavers for ladies were introduced, and it was absolute rubbish. It rotted in my drawer and was eventually thrown out. I continued to shave using a wet razor, or occasionally I used some immac. Shaving has always been a chore to me, but I hate hairy legs and ... Read the complete review

I have had my Phillips for several years now in fact it is my second one I was bought an up dated one a while ago as a gift. Lets be honest ldies it is easier and quicker, in most cases less painful. I must admit I have never had my legs waxed but a friend of mine has and told me she experienced some real pain and it put me off. Maybe ... Read the complete review

I have had this electric razor for several years now. The ladyshave comes with a little brush to assist cleaning, and has a removeable head for the same purpose, which is useful. I bought this hoping for a safer and more effective alternative to wet shaving, however I have found that it is not as effective, takes at least as long, and ... Read the complete review

A close shave or what? Preferring to use disposibles for a really close shave, I was bought a ladyshave after complaining of too many nicks and cuts. Dubious about the close shave promise, I tried it and was pleasantly suprised. This product gives a really, really close shave with no abrasions. Has two setting, one for underarm and bikini line ... I know, most of the British people think that all German ladies have hairy armpits... but that's not true. Not all. But quite a lot. I never ever thought about it until I moved to England some 4 years ago. As you ladies know, we don't just watch men...no, we observe women as well. That's what I did - and I couldn't see any ...
