Not for the first time in my life did my mum burst into my room to find me laid out on my bed screaming with a medium sized buzzing object between my legs. She looked embarrassed and turned to leave. I quickly ripped it off my leg to show her that indeed it was only a epilator! She'd heard the screams and come to complain she couldn't hear Jeremy Kyle! Why oh why?.... Well I bought my epilator in Boots and in search for my quest for eternal beauty I bought it. Normally on sale for £40.00 was reduced to £20.00 , accidentally happened to have a £10.00 sticker on it and they let me have it for the tenner! I'd always wanted one cos I suffer ... I can't think of any other reason he would have bought this instrument of torture, let alone actually expected me to use it more than once in the proverbial blue moon. ~~~The looks~~~ So let's have a look at this hair removing device that would have been quite at home in a torture chamber of days gone by. Now I am not adversed to maintaining a certain level of personal hygiene but when it comes to hair removal I just cant be bothered, do not get me wrong I find the concept of bodily hair pretty repulsive but I have yet to find a method of hair removal that suits me. I began with shaving, a nice simple method, that is both easy and cheap to do, the results are good, nice smooth, silky legs (a sensation that I seem to ... Read the complete review

Hair removal is a very personal matter. Some women have lots of thick, dark hair, others have very little; some find waxing exruciating, others barely notice it. There is also the matter of how far you are bothered, depending mainly on what you wear and whether you're in a relationship. I have to confess that I'm a long skirts girl and don't bother all that often when I'm single, whereas some people want their legs to be completely smooth every day whatever they're up to. I have found that an epilator gives the best result for longest, though. The epilator is a small, handheld machine that plugs into the mains. It contains several ... Read the complete review
