I've had my epilator for over 2 years now. I've always been interested in alternatives to shaving and couldn't seem to manage waxing myself, I wouldn't mind someone doing it for me, but that's quite pricey. I bought the epilator because it had a 90-day money back guarantee if I found it too painful.... great a free trial!

The first time I was in pain. It took hours and I had to reward myself with sweets every time I managed a patch. But the results made me persevere. My legs were completely smooth for over a week and only started to look bad after 3 weeks (and my leg hair does grow fast).

I am now in a routine, I epilate every 4 weeks, loofah my legs every day and usually shave once after 3 weeks. Before epilation I used to shave about once a week and my legs were never completely smooth, I was too lazy to do them any more than that. Now I don't have to worry, it's great. And an epilator picks up really short hairs (from 2mm long) whereas if you go for waxing they have to be considerably longer.

I would recommend epilation to anyone who is sick up shaving, doesn't mind a small amount of pain to begin with and likes value for money. (It cost me £35 and included a free electric razor for those 'harder to reach areas')

Also I'd love to see a mans face if I epilated his legs!!!!!

Forgot to mention, I recently bought to after waxing balm which is an excellent soother after epilation!
