Advantages: Handy, easy to use, effective and easy to clean, good value for money
Disadvantages: Slightly painful
Today it is a known fact that one's grooming says so much about a person even before she says a word. And as any lady will agree, removing unwanted hair is a boring, yet necessary routine in this grooming process:
Waxing in the parlour is fine but cost is also a factor. And then there are so many rituals like haircut, facials and spa treatments for which parlours are a better option than doing it by yourself at home.
Shaving is an easy option at home but the rough aftergrowth is certainly undesirable, not to mention the frequency in which it has to be done.
Then I saw this advertisement about the Philips Epilator and although a bit skeptical, I bought it. A small and handy appliance, just plug it on and switch it 'on'. 2 speed settings for fine and thick hairs, a built-in massaging system to minimize the discomfort and a sensitive zone cap for the delicate areas.
So easy to use?
Maybe it will be really painful, gingerly, I try it, keeping it on the skin and moving it on the area to be cleaned.
Maybe I expected it to hurt too much...Because my thoughts went like this, "Is that all the pain?"
Maybe it is not doing the job at all...I peer to see my leg. Wow! So clean, so smooth! Cleaning the equipment? Just use the tiny brush provided and dust it swiftly. It is that simple.
Is it really so simple, so effective, so painless? Where's the hitch? Why didn't I but this product earlier?
Maybe the hair will grow back very fast and very rough...I wait...1 week, 2 weeks, 3 and 4, I see soft fine hair.
I am elated. A small matter but so important to me. My problem is solved. I wear sleeveless dresses, skirts and shorts and at all times, you will see me confident and smiling. My little companion-My very own secret!
Summary: This handy epilator can replace waxing at parlours and shaving (the unfeminine option).
