Piz Buin After Sun Tan Intensifier Lotion

I find this product does actually do what it says, it shouldn't be applied before you go on holiday but just used as a normal aftersun. It doesn't make such a difference that you look like you've been away for two months and not two weeks, but my tan is definitely deeper and I continued to use the product on my return and my tan lasted much longer. Even hepls improve your tan after sunbed use.

I tried this product a few years ago before I went on holiday to Cyprus. I got it from Boots on a 3 for 2 offer at the time but to buy it on its own it is about 8 pounds (so quite a bit more tehn normal after sun). I decided to try it as to see if the claims that it would intensify your tan would really work and the answer was no in my opinion. On the bottle Piz Buin claim that because of the added Tanimal your tan will be intensified without the need for any fake tan products. I bought this sun lotion before I went on holiday to see if I could boost my tan that extra bit. The product claims to have an ingredient 'Tanimel', whihc is supposed to encourage more of the skin's natural tanning. It also contains vitmain e and of course also claims to do all the normal things an after sun does such as cool the skin, moisturise etc. The lotion itself is quite thick and creamy and has a nice, almost serumy feel to it. It is an off white colour. So did it actually intensify my tan? No, I slathered it on at the end of every day, but I couldn't really notice a deeper or more intense tan in the morning.
