I have personal experience of skin cancer after losing my father to the illness in 1988. Thanks to the sun and the desire to acheive that golden tan, he lost his life. Morbid I know, but I think its the best way to get across how dangerous flaunting yourself on the beach can be. If you want your skin to have that damaged look (i.e. you look like you have a tan) , there are much simpler ways. Afterall, that is what a tan is....Skin damage. So if you want to bronze yourself up, do so out of a bottle. "Fake Tan" have come on leaps and bounds since they hit out shops a couple of decades ago. You don't get that "orange" glow that people ... Read the complete review

I have been using this product for three years running, I still have the same bottle from the year before and it seems to last and last. I find it really excellent on my skin, giving me the perfect bronzed look I am after. I find I need to apply it about three nights in a row for a full on tan but if you just want a glow then one night is sufficient. I went to a party just the other night and I was constantly asked if I 'd been sunbathing and when I told them that it was fake they complemented me on how realistic it is and where could they buy it too! I must admit last week I did buy the spray version to try and compare to the cream. I found the spray was a ... Read the complete review

I have used many different makes of fake tan, but this is the worst of the lot. Recommended by a friend, I applied the product evenly to avoid streaking, but I ended up with orange and white stripy arms and legs. I had to stay covered up to avoid everyone laughing at my expense, and it was the middle of summer! The worse thing was, that normally products fade too quickly and you keep on having to re-apply it, but this mess wouldn't shift for nearly two weeks, despite hours of scrubbing in the shower! Thank God I didn't use it just before I went on holiday because it would have ruined it, with me looking like a freak! I thought that because I was ... Read the complete review

After watching an advertisement for PIZ Buin jet bronzer on television, the lady just wiped it on (whilst wearing white clothes) and that was it, it looked so simple and easy to do, looking down at my pale legs and complexion, I thought right this is it, and I went out and bought it from my local Boots. I was excited at putting it on and looking like I had been away on holiday, i applied the tan firstly to my legs and then finished with my arms, and I waited, the next morning I awoke hoping to see a healthy glowing tan, but no, I was orange it was all streaky down my legs and it look like somebody had painted me orange (dont get me wrong I didnt apply to much) i ... This product proves once and for all that you can't always expect quality simply because you are paying through the nose. This facial fake tan is the worst I've used. It smells (no kidding) like toilet cleaner. My boyfriend (who loves the smell of everything I use) asked me to wash my face at it was so minging! The consistency is pretty vile - a greasy, gel-like cream. My normally dry skin broke out in spots in ONE DAY. The packaging is of course stylish but so what? This product let me down and I threw it out after a couple of goes. ... Read the complete review
