Advantages: Quality product
Disadvantages: Not recommended for children
Piz Buin is my favorite sun tan lotion but it can be quite pricey however to avoid the dreaded sun burn this is a cost I will happily pay.
It comes in the recogniseable brown bottle 200ml and is sensibly packaged so it can be turned on its head when the bottle is almost empty.
At only SPF 10 it is not a product I would use on a child but I used this product for the second week of two week holidays when I come down from a higher factor when my skin has become aclimatised to the foregn sun. Even at a low factor the lotion was of sufficient quality that skin did not burn.
The lotion is moderately thick white cream but does quickly absorb into the skin. The lotion is sweat and water resistant, however i have my reserations about this as I had to reapply the lotion several times per day, as recommended on the bottle. The lotion was being used by myself and my husband and in the way as directed on the bottle and lasted just seven days, so I woud recommend that if two people are going for a two week holiday and you are only taking one SPF then you will require two bottles.
The fragrance of the lotion was pretty odourless which was a hit with my husband who does not like the typical Coconut fragrance of hawaiian tropic.
Summary: Low factor but great product
