      Advantages

      Disadvantages

Good for dry skin but not good for the nose!

When it comes to using body creams and lotions and wonder potions etc, I like many people on here purchase stuff with the best of intentions. However I'm lazy as hell so I tend to buy something and use it once or twice and it gets casts aside. Lets face it though we've had a bad winter so who an earth wants to slap themselves silly with creams in the freezing cold weather we've had? Well not me I can tell you that much!

Though I don't know about you, but I really do need to use body creams/lotions in the winter. Coming out of said winter my skin is rather dry and flaky to the look and touch and that's no good when your back on the dating scene and realise you look more like a piece of haddock and have skin like a cuttlefish rather than like a glowing goddess!

In my local Primark (or Primarni to me) we have a massive collection of toiletries sat by the tills for our perusal. So whilst I'm constantly stuck in queues I end up being nosy, getting bored and throwing stuff into my already overflowing basket. The toiletries are normally on sale for £1.00 a go but for the past few weeks nearly all of them has been 50p a product. I'm not sure as to why this is because I thought at first maybe they were clearing out the old toiletry range but this doesn't seem to be the case as it's gone on for so long lol. There's loads of stock (as I mentioned this is been going on for weeks now) and it just keeps coming! Weird but hey who's complaining! lol.

With the best of intention (I talked about earlier) I decided to buy this as I simply like the fresh lime being mentioned lol.

      The Packaging....

200ml round tub which is clear plastic with a large black shiny screw on/off lid at the top with a green sticky, round label on it. On that in black writing I'm told it is We (Heart meaning Love) Fruit Kiwi & Lime Body Butter With Fruit Extracts. On the bottom of the tub all written in black I'm again told what it is, I'm told a bit about the product, directions for use are given, ingredients are listed, size is stated (as I've told you already and the only size this product is available to purchase in), contact details for Primark are given and finally there is a bar-code on there. It is a cheap looking tub really but hey it's usual price is only a quid and I never even paid that for it! I do like being able to see the body butter through the tub though so I can see when it needs replacing (if I want to of course!).

A Bit About The Product According To The Tub....

Pamper your skin with We Love Fruit Creamy Body Butter containing real botanical extracts of Kiwi and Lime. Formulated with skin conditioners and natural beeswax to intensively moisturise your skin.

      Directions For Use....

Apply to dry skin and gently massage in until absorbed.

My Experience Using The Body Butter....

First word of warning is to say that when you open the tub simply make sure it's been stored laid down flat. Otherwise the body butter gets into the lid and blobs out everywhere if your not careful! Store it right and it's fine though!

So when you first are met with the body butter you have a sort of fluorescent green, glossy but quite gloopy cream. It's looks very smooth and there is a lot of product in this tub.

The smell is very apparent! It smells to me more of kiwi fruit than of lime but there is a limy zest throughout this too. It's overly sweet and a little bit creamy and although I'm told that this contains fruit extracts it smells rather cheap and fake and not one bit natural to my nasal passages.

The consistency of this body butter isn't what I expected at all. It's rather wet really but having said that a little goes a long way and you really don't need to rub it in as such as it's easily absorbed and this makes this product a very economical product to use indeed.

Once on the skin the fragrance lasts a good few hours and is highly noticeable (great if you like the smell lol). Also it does gently hydrate the skin for hours too and feels comfortable and unheavy and unsticky to wear.

      Overall....

As a body butter designed to do a job it works for me incredibly well. Skin is visibly smoother and alot more comfortable to live in! I really rate it as a treatment as it is just such a light but rich feeling butter. I love the ease of it being absorbed into my skin, the no transfer of residue or having to wait to dry as such. However the smell of this is cheap and fake and I don't like that and because it's so highly fragranced and lasts in the fragrance department for me this is a no no!

      Only available in Primark.
