Advantages: Nice, soft and gentle fragrance, does a damn good job and is sooo cheap!

Disadvantages: Doesn't hydrate or moisturise skin really

I make no secret of being a Primark shopper! I go in there loads and spend loads on throw away fashion and always I end up stood in mile long queues (at least it feels like that lol). However the clever people at Primark are aware of the queues and do stick stuff near the tills knowing full well that people like me will nosey about and will buy stuff. Which I do with surprising regularity. So much so I've almost tried all of their toiletry offerings and am almost ready to move on to their cosmetics! Usually priced at a pound an item all of the toiletries in my local Primark have been reduced with a very high stock level to 50p. It's on sale week upon week and the shelves are fully stocked with lots of varieties! So I decided to plonk this in my already overflowing basket to try out! Why not for the price was my thinking!

The Packaging....

250ml clear plastic tube with black writing all over it and a flip top lid concealing a small hole to the bottom of it. On the front I am told 'We Love (symbolised by a heart shape) Fruit' and that it is Pomegranate & Watermelon Body Wash With Fruit Extracts'. On the back I'm told once again what it is, I'm told a bit about the product, directions for use are given, ingredients are listed and I'm reminded this is not a food product (lol), size is again stated, contact details for Primark are given and finally there is a bar-code on there. Although you couldn't say it was top quality and amazing to look at packaging it doesn't scream it's cheap and cheerful and what I do appreciate is it doesn't look tacky and is a fully operational, working tube with more than enough information on it and I can see when it needs replacing!

Directions For Use....

Squeeze some scrummy body wash into palms or onto puff, apply to damp skin and work into a lather before rinsing.

My Experience Using It....


Well I always use it on my scrunchy in the shower but the way you use it is entirely up to you of course and I'm not going to pry lol! I find a small blob of the bright rather runny, purple liquid is more than enough to wash my entire body with. It is runny as I have just said so really no need to even squeeze the tube it simply runs out so you always have to make sure you do it up after use properly or you will lose the lot.

It foams up into big white and rich bubbles immediately on contact with damp skin. It feels soft and moisturising enough, doesn't irritate my skin and smell wise it is sweet and fruity and in my view for men, women or the kids to use. I wouldn't say it smells particularly of pomegranate or watermelon though. No for me it smells simply like berry fruits but it is nice and not in your face or harsh in the smell stakes and really enjoyable and uplifting to use.

It lathers up so well if you want to shave any bits and bobs that's fine and dandy. It rinses off well and doesn't scum up or make the shower tray or bath dirty after use.

Results....

Clean and gently fragranced skin. The fragrance doesn't last above half an hour on skin and even when you can first smell it, it really isn't strong at all anyway so you can go about using your other body products and fragrances as usual. Skin isn't left smooth as silk or noticeably hydrated although by the same token it doesn't upset the skins natural PH balance either and it is none irritating.

Overall....

A really economical buy, this simply lasts ages. Although not as fragranced when used on my skin as I would personally like it to be it does leave me feeling fresh and clean and removes any nasty odours and I do like the fact I can shave with it if desired. For me, this is an every-day shower product that works out cheap, doesn't look bad on display, lasts ages and does a damn good job. Even at a pound a tube it's really very cheap for the length of time this will last you due to the small amount you need to use! Really worth a punt people! See what you think yourself and grab one as you don't have a lot to lose eh!?
