... been gardening made my hands feel soft again. I will admit that I find the smell quite manly which reminds me of one of the Shower Gels they produce but I will always ensure I have a bottle next to the Kitchen and Bathroom sinks. I just find it so useful for both my partner and myself. And as Scarlet baby is now starting to wash her hands in the sink like a big girl it is great for her to ensure her hands are clean to eat after all the rollling around in the mud she does. Radox has thumbs up from me and will alway...more

Premium Review Radox Clean and Protect Antibacterial Handwash: Not one to get in a lather about (568 words)
by - written on 13/08/09 (Very useful, 107 readings)
Rating:

Radox clean and protect was on special offer a few weeks ago in Somerfield for £1 per bottle so I decided to swap from my usual Carex to give it a go. I choose this one in the Radox range for its anti-bacterial properties. As I have to wash my hands lots after nappy changing and preparing food etc I do prefer anti-bacterial hand wash or soap to give me the reassurance that my hands not only look clean but are germ free too. What Radox claim ****************** "People have used tea tree oil for years to look after their skin. It's a little like eucalyptus, slightly warm to the touch and just a bit tingly. We've blended it with a few sprigs of ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review For perfectly clean hands! (402 words)
by - written on 13/10/09 (Very useful, 40 readings)

I always have used soap to wash my hands but keeping soap next to the sink in the kitchen I thought would look a bit odd. So my mum suggested I try hand wash instead. I always thought Radox only produced Bubble Bath and Shower Gel so you can imagine my surprise when I was scanning the Morrisons shelves and saw the hand wash range. As it was also on offer for £1.00 I picked up the Natural Antibacterial with Thyme and Tea Tree Oil. The hand wash comes in a small 300ml plastic squeezable bottle which is clear for you to see the blue liquid inside. Which I thought was odd as Tea Tree and Thyme are both naturally green. And with a pump action nosle the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Radox Clean and Protect Antibacterial Handwash: Keep them Hands Clean Naturally! (659 words)
by - written on 26/08/09 (Very useful, 71 readings)
Rating:

Radox Clean & Protect - Natural Antibacterial Handwash **WHAT IT DOES** It is a handwash which has natural antibacterial properties in it which claims to be effective and gentle. It will help maintain the skins PH balance leaving your hands feeling soft. It is dermatologically tested. **PACKAGING** It comes in a see through plastic bottle which is durable and can withstand getting wet or a few knocks as it is sturdy. You can see the light blue (aqua) coloured handwash inside. There is a pump you press down to get the hand wash out. The only problem with this is that once the handwash starts to run ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Good bottle, shame about the smell, colour and excessive ski ... (607 words)

Radox antibacterial handwash retails at about the £1.50 mark usually, and as a confirmed cheapskate, it's not something that personally, I usually buy. As it is currently (in Aug 09) selling for a quid a bottle at Tesco's and as there are a couple of features about it I like I recently purchased some. The variety I bought - despite being a slightly alarming shade of pale crystal blue (as in: "this colour says 'aqua' to me" - if you happen to be a fan of the TV character Alan Partridge) - has got thyme extract and tea-tree oil in it that'll (presumably) contribute to its 'natural' antibacterial action. It smells, however, neither of thyme ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Radox Clean and Protect Antibacterial Handwash: radox hands (348 words)

I almost always use radox handwash in the kitchen and bathroom but this Radox clean and protect was on special offer in Somerfield before for £1 so I decided to swap from my usual to tryi it out and see if it was any good. I am very hygiene aware and chose this because it antibacterial and especially with the health scares and swine flu being around. It comes in a clear plastic bottle that you can recycle and it has a pump where the handwash comes from, much better than having to pick up the bottle if your hands are dirty or wet. You can close the dispenser, but it isn't in my sons reach anyway so I don't bother. The soap itself stands out because it is ...  Read the complete review
