Radox Clean & Protect - Natural Antibacterial Handwash

**WHAT IT DOES**

It is a handwash which has natural antibacterial properties in it which claims to be effective and gentle. It will help maintain the skins PH balance leaving your hands feeling soft. It is dermatologically tested.

**PACKAGING**

It comes in a see through plastic bottle which is durable and can withstand getting wet or a few knocks as it is sturdy. You can see the light blue (aqua) coloured handwash inside.

There is a pump you press down to get the hand wash out. The only problem with this is that once the handwash starts to run out you will find it harder to get the hand wash out. I usually put a drop of water in to help prolong use, this however does dilute it. The pump is a clean way to get the gel out and will cause very little mess.

On the front there is the Radox logo in green and even the label is waterproof. There is a picture at the bottom of a small plant with green swirls going around it. I assume this is supposed to be thyme and tea tree oil going around it.

There is also a circular picture of hands saying 'naturally caring for hands'. I suppose this is to reinforce to you that it is made up of natural ingredients. To be honest I didn't realise this circular picture until I looked closely.

On the back it gives you further details of the product in white writing. It also tells you to recycle but make sure to remove the pump first.

**INGREDIENTS**

Aqua, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Benzoate, Lactic Acid, Thymus Vulgaris Extract, Melaleuca Alternifolia Leaf Oil, Parfum, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Lactate, Limonene, Dipropylene Glycol, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Benzyl Salicylate, Hexyl Cinnamal, Glycerin, CI 42090

I am not sure what most of these ingredients are but it may be useful if you are allergic to any of them.

I do know that that Tea tree oil is in the ingredients and it has antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties so will keep your hands clean without germs. Also the tea tree oil is kind to skin and does not damage it.

Another ingredient is thyme and it has also got antiseptic properties to keep your hands clean and fresh killing germs.

**PRODUCT**

The handwash itself is gel like and if you press the pump down once it will provide you enough of the gel to wash your hands properly. As you would expect if you don't wash it off properly then your hands will be all sticky. It is blue in colour and just smells like soap. It is a fresh smell however and it will not linger on.

To use just press down the pump onto the palm of your hand once and then rub your hands together washing the handwash off. Try to avoid getting any of the handwash into your eyes. If you do get it into your eye then rinse your eye straight away with clean water.

**MY EXPERIENCE**

This handwash cost me 99 pence which I think is good value as it lasts a generous amount of time and it will get your hands clean and fresh each time.

I felt content that it had antibacterial properties without the harsh chemicals as they occurred naturally in the ingredients. It means that my skin doesn't dry up when I wash my hands.

I like the way that it doesn't have a strong smell and the packaging is attractive so it looks nice sitting in your kitchen or bathroom. I feel that it was good value for money and would buy it again.

Summary: a nice handwash to use
