"Wash your hands before preparing food" - the first rule of any school cookery lesson. Not only do we washing our hands before preparing food, but after preparing food too. Whilst some can use a squirt of washing up liquid and some hot water, which does the job adequately, of course, I prefer to wash with "proper" soap..... That's ok if your downstairs loo is near to the kitchen, but if it isn't, or if you don't have a downstairs loo, that means that you need to keep soap in your kitchen for the numerous handwashing occasions that crop up. A bar of soap in a kitchen is, I feel, impractical - the sheer amount of water flying around a ... Read the complete review

I always use liquid handwash in the bathroom and in the kitchen as I feel it is more hygienic than using a bar of soap. I love Radox handwashes as I always feel they are good quality and smell great so was keen to try the Clean and Soften handwash as I hadn't tried it before. The handwash is Aloe Vera and Cucumber so I was looking forward to a handwash that was going to be fresh and clean and I wasn't disappointed. The handwash comes in a 300ml pump dispenser bottle, the bottle is clear and you can see the pale green handwash through the bottle. The handwash dispenses easily using the pump and is fairly thick and creamy. Applying it to my wet hands it ... Read the complete review

Wash your hands with soap and warm water is the advice we hear on television and radio several times a day at the moment to help prevent catching Swine flu, but everyone should be taking this advice all the time and it has been proved that hands should be washed regularly especially after using the toilet, blowing your nose and before preparing food. I buy many types of liquid handwash usually what ever is the best offer when I'm shopping and recently bought some Radox handwash. I had already used the Aloe Vera and cucumber shower cream so hoped that handwash would be as good. There is 300mls in the bottle, which is clear plastic with a green tinge and ... We go through a heck of a lot of handwash in our household as we have a bottle in the kitchen, utility room, downstairs loo & bathrooms so I'm always on the lookout for good value products. As those of you who've been kind enough to read any of my reviews will know, I've been trying to keep my shopping bills down & I have had varying success. Although I've been quite satisfied with some cheaper handwashes I've also been disappointed as some are very watery, don't clean the hands as well as I'd like or are very drying to the skin. I spotted Radox Clean & Soften in one of our local poundshops (£1.84 on Amazon) & decided to buy some ... Read the complete review

We go through a fair amount of handwash in our house. We've a bottle in the kitchen, one in the downstairs toiler, one in the bathroom and one in the ensuite. Add to that the fact that I'm verging on OCD with the amount of times I wash my hands in a day and you can see why. I tend to just buy whatever is on offer in Tesco, be it reduced in price or BOGOF. Then it all gets shoved in the cupboard until needed. Last year, Radox handwashes happened to be on special offer, for buy one get one free. I got a bottle of Clean and Soften and one of the others in the range. Radox is a name I normally associate with relaxing bath soak, but they make a whole ... Read the complete review
