Advantages: Hands feel clean and fresh after use.

Disadvantages: Slightly greasy feel, feels more like lotion than soap.

This product, from the Radox Clean and Soften range, is a good soap, but not the best I have ever used. A natural antibacterial handwash, this particular soap is made with aloe vera and cucumber. It's not often you would associate cucumber with soap in my opinion, but I was willing to give it a go.

The look of the product is very natural, with green lettering and some aloe vera leaves on the front. The bottle is curved and rectangular, with a circular top and is also transparent apart from the white pump on the top. The colour of the soap is a very light, very creamy green, which I didn't find particularly inviting. The bottle size is 300ml.

The fragrance of the soap is probably the best part of it. It isn't too powerful, but it is striking how clean and fresh it smells, without being too perfume like so my partner can use it without feeling ashamed too! It lingers on the hands after drying, but only if you breathe it in deeply. It has a very pleasant aroma.

Where I think the product is a let down though is in how it feels. It isn't slimy, but it doesn't always feel like it clings to your skin very well. It has a slightly slippery, greasy texture to it, in spite of being quite thick and very good at moisturising. It froths up very well, and I always feel very clean after using it but I do find the texture quite off putting.

I have always found this in supermarkets and usually in some sort of offer as well, although I think it normally retails for around £1.60. I think this is a quite average price but there are better soaps on the market in my opinion.

Summary: Clean but uncomfortable.
