Advantages: Lot's of lather
Disadvantages: none yet
I received this shower gel as a Christmas pressie, my mum buys me a box of bits every year that has all sorts of bath and body bits and knowing that I love a good body wash she bought me quite a few. The problem is when is start using one I quickly get bored and move on to the next one which leaves a few half empty bottles in the bathroom! The other half then starts moaning that there isn't room for his stuff! So did this one become another dust gatherer?
COMPANY HISTORY
Radox first started in 1908 in the UK with their famous bath salts that were made from natural herbs and minerals. The name Radox comes from the words "radiated oxygen" as Radox said that their products radiate the scent of their product through the oxygen that comes out of a hot bath or shower. (God I feel like I am on brainiacs!) Sara Lee, the queen of the cakes, owns this company!!
One last bit of useless information, Radox was the first company to make liquid soap!
PRODUCT STATEMENT
Lot's of people use jasmine and fig as they are known for their caring properties, why not indulge yourself in our new shower cream. What makes it special? 100 years of Radox know how, fragrant jasmine, luscious fig and a whole lot of herbs and minerals.
PACKAGING
This come in the latest and up to date Radox packaging, it is shaped like a tear drop with the lid and pull out hanging hook thing in silver and the rest of the bottle is clear so you can see the colour of the shower cream. This particular cream is a lovely rich burgundy colour, the lid is your basic flip top with the plastic sort of bit in the hole that is supposed to stop the lid getting messy but never works for me! On the front it has the famous Radox logo and some lovely rose petals, it also states that this is a limited edition.
USING
I must admit I did like the look of this shower cream especially the richness of the burgandy (I know the tiny things do please me!) The first thing I noticed just before using it was the smell, I couldn't quite put my finger on it and to be honest wasn't really sure I liked it. But the more I used it the more I could distinguish it as the jasmine, and after a while I really came to like the scent, I can't say that I can smell the figs but every now and then you get a bit of a different waft which I have put down to the figs (as to be honest I don't know what figs smell like!).
I always use a body puff thingy as it makes the shower cream go further and you don't have to use as much, with this cream I really didn't need to use a lot at all. It lathers up very well and the lather has a sort of pink tinge to it which was nice me being a girl having 2 boys and an other half its nice to have some nice pink girly things (again with the tiny things pleasing me!). The scent really wafts around the bathroom as you are using it but isn't so strong that it gets sickly like some can do. Even though the lather is quite rich it is very easy to rinse of and there is no slimy bits left after rinsing.
After drying myself my skin does feel nice and soft, not soft enough to forget about moisturising but doesn't dry my skin out, I have also had no adverse reaction to this product and my skin is quite sensitive. The actual scent does linger a bit but isn't over strong and you just catch a waft every now and then. I must also add that this 250ml bottle did last me about a month and that was using it every day so it was also good lasting value.

Yes I would, I have now got used to the scent and love it now, the lather is lovely and rich and the bottle lasts quite a while. So no down sides except that it may not be around for long as it is a limited edition so I will have to stock up when they are on offer. At least the other half will be pleased and this one won't gather dust mind you if I do stock up there still won't be room for his stuff! Still you can't win them all !!!
