Radox Muscle Therapy Bath Soak
Description: Manufacturer: Radox / Relaxing bath soak.
I absloutely love spending ages in the bath. We have a huge bath and there is loads of room to just relax and lie back and enjoy. A couple of candles, loads of bubbles, a nice glass of wine and I am in heaven! On that basis, I try loads of different bubble baths.
This bottle of Radox cost just £1 from Poundland, though retails for anything up to £1.80 in chemists and supermarkets. It comes in a clear bottle with a deep red or orange liquid inside. The label has "Radox" written on it on a green background. There are loads of different varieties but the one that I am reviewing is their "Muscle Therapy" one, which contains black pepper and ginseng.
I liked the colour of this bath soak, it was a rich, deep colour which turned the water slightly red. It did create a decent amount of bubbles too (I find this with most Radox bubble baths) and a slightly spicy scent which reminded me slightly of cinnamon. It is difficult to describe a scent, but this was more herbal than floral. It wasn't a particularly strong smell though, and I have found that some Radox's are stronger than others. This isn't on of the stronger smelling varieties and I would have liked it to be a little stronger.
Because I would have preferred it to be stronger, I was a little let down by this bath soak. It was nice, but I like my bubbles to be really fragrant, so next time, will perhaps try a different variety. Having said that, there were loads of bubbles and despite having slightly sensitive skin, it didn't irritate me in any way, so for the bargain price of £1, was still a decent buy.
If you like a mild scented bath soak then this could be one to try!
Summary: A decent buy, but not the most fragrant
